Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Bad I do love my vacuum, however I wish it would have come with attachments. As a stay at home momma with 2 kids under the age of 4, I need a vacuum that can get into the crevices that dirt, dust and food go. I will say this vacuum is easy to use and to clean plus it is beautiful looking I just wish it came with more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Happy So far I am loving my new vacuum. I am 80 years old and wanted a lighter vacuum and this one fits my needs beautifully. I live in an apartment and this makes it so much easier to vacuum. Very impressed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never again will I purchase a Shark vacuum! I have pets and kids that seem to totally overwhelm this Shark Rocket Powerhead Vacuum. All debris must pass through a tiny quarter sized hole into the collection chamber. If you have pets or kids this tiny quarter sized hole will become clogged after about 3-4 swipes with the vacuum. The collection chamber is still totally empty, but since the inlet is clogged the vacuum will just start pushing things around or blowing it out the back end. It takes me about 3 times of clearing that little tiny quarter sized hole with a pencil, or tweezers, or my fingers (ick) just to somewhat clean our normal sized living room. If you are buying this for anything but VERY light duty, you will find yourself cursing it in short order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wowza!!! Rarely do I take the time to complete a survey or rate a service for which everyone seems to ask all the time for all things these days, but, there is always a BUT! I have owned a D brand vacuum for many years. Becoming less and less satisfied, I decided that I wanted to try a Shark, which seems to be the new hot brand. Now, having learned from my large financial investment in the D brand with which I was never satisfied, this time I didn't want to spend a LOT of money without knowing if the claims could be supported. This price provided a perfect compromise. I "knew" an inexpensive vacuum probably wouldn't blow me away, but at least I would know if I wanted to invest in a full service vacuum with lights and attachments and all the features. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this vacuum. EVERYthing that was claimed IS true. It is REALLY light and easy to maneuver, even with my aches and pains. I've replaced most of my carpet with a soft bamboo wood flooring, and I have several area rugs. The bamboo scratches easily, but is dark and shows dirt and every imperfection. I stand corrected, I was blown away, and who would have thought a vacuum could blow me away at my age??!!! The brush roll was so soft and easy to change, and the suction was extremely powerful. Perhaps because of the smaller size, this vacuum cleans along baseboards, edges, and in corners better than any other tool I've ever used. I have two dogs and two kids, and definitely need this feature. I was so pleased with the results on the floor, even if the Rocket couldn't capably clean the area rugs, I would still have been pleased with this purchase. But (remember that there is always a but), the powerful suction and cleaning ability on the area rugs blew me away even more!! It cleaned all the rugs--those with thick pile, low profile, small and large equally well with the suction release feature. I'm now ready to purchase a lift away for my stairs, and it will assuredly be a Shark. Well done, Shark; I now understand what all the hype is about!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sweeper Love this product. I have 3 dogs and could never get all the hair off the floor. The interchangeable heads make it a breeze between hardwood and carpet. I was amazed at the hair and dirt it pulled up. Well worth the money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Heavy I purchased this vacuum based upon all of the excellent reviews. I have to admit after trying it out I'm scratching my head. I find the vacuum to be very heavy and awkward to use. It's also loud. I've purchased many Shark vacuums over the years and this one is not serving my needs. I will be returning this asap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for hardwood floors The option of changing out brushes is exactly what I needed. The soft bristles won't scratch the surface, but still cleans extremely well. The vacuum cleans next to walls and picks up all of the dirt and dust. I love the extra piece that attaches to the vacuum and holds the brush for carpets. Changing them out is very easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for 'us' oldies! Being 80, I needed something I could handle from my power chair and this is it! Easy to move around, easy to empty and works on any floor.
