Shark Navigator Professional Lift-Away Vacuum with BacksaverHandle
My vacuum before was pretty lousy so it's comparing apples to oranges but as a cleaning fanatic, this vacuum is awesome! My first purchase from QVC and I feel was worth every penny so far. It is a little tippy when using attachments so you have to keep an eye on it but other than that, it's awesome. Picks up all sorts of stuff.
Don't waist your money.
Has good suction, but that's about it. Way too cumbersome and heavy. If you try to use the hose you better hang on to the vacuum part because it's going to fall over. I have so many dents in my hardwood floors because of this. I don't know why they can't make the hoses a little looser. Don't waist your money. Also if you're going to empty it you'd be better off to take it outside. Dust flies everywhere.
If you think your carpets are clean wait until you try this sweeper!
Some Serious Cleaning
Compact, plenty of features, and HUGE SUCTION. Dirt and debris cannot escape from this mighty appliance. I love that it handles so easily and has so many features. I didn't realize how much debris was in my carpets until I put this baby to work. This is one of my best purchases on QVC!
I have 2 samoyed dogs and a cat; you can image the white hair that comes off those dogs. Before I used the Shark I vaccumed with my original cleaner twice. Used the Shark and could not believe what it picked up the third time around. The suction is very powerful and the vaccum is light weight. I have never spent more than $100.00 on a vaccum; this was worth every penny; I could not of purchased it without QVC's easy pay.
Best Purchase Ever
I love this unit. It picks up better than the one I had. I love ll the attachments. It is super easy to use, moves easy and gets under stuff. i wish I would of bought one earlier.
This vacuum really does a great job. We have a very large family (6 kids) and two dogs. The vacuum is compatible with the Dyson attachments, which is nice. Thanks for having such a great product.
Way too heavy
After reading all the wonderful ratings i decided to purchase this vacuum. I agree with the lady who said this is way too heavy. Every time I used this my back would hurt. Also way too many things to have to change out and unhook. I thought it was very cumbersome. Compared to my current vacuum this is NOT a winner. As the other person said I crammed it back in the box and back it went.
Love this...best vacuum that I've ever owned for the price ..highly recommend for couples just starting out !
you've got to be kidding
Terrific suction. That's about it! If you have allergies or asthma don't even consider this machine. There is no way to empty out the dust cup without dust being spewed back into the air. Heavy. Very heavy, and I'm no woos! I wish the video of this presentation was still available. I seem to remember a comment about relatively light in weight. I crammed this vacuum back in its box.(No easy task) Back it goes! Very disappointed!
Best vacuum ever owned
This is the first review I have ever posted. I am so blown away by this vacuum's performance that I am at a loss for words. I have a black Lab puppy that has made my carpets and my other floors BLACK, BLACK, BLACK! All attempts with my other vacuum have proven to be futile. When I received the shark I was almost afraid to try it because I was convinced that it wouldn't be able to do the job either. Was I surprised! I almost purchased a Dyson until I read the reviews that customers had posted. I also read the reviews posted for this vacuum and decided to give it a try. Am I glad I did. I have purchased many items from QVC and this is by far the best item I have purchased. WHAT A GREAT VACUUM!
A Lot of Hype
I purchased this to compare it to my Bissell Pet Vac-I ran a side by side comparison for straight vacuuming. How did we do? They were the same. I ran the shark over what I had just cleaned with the Bissell, nothing more was picked up. I ran it on hardwood, Bisssell won because I didn't have to change heads. The Bissell is a one step to hardwood floors. I will admit the Shark does have a smaller head to get into places the Bissell couldn't without moving furniture. I do like the Shark when it comes to cleaning the dirt out of the machine. The lift away was good for stair cleaning, and like the fact that the machine is lightweight. I didn't like the idea that there is no place to keep the attachments on the machine. To me, this is cumbersome when you have two floors and to drag them back and forth is silly. I paid the same price for my Bissell as I did the Shark. I'm still on the edge if I will keep or return the machine, the jury is still out.
