Shark Navigator Professional Lift-Away Vacuum with BacksaverHandle
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this vacuum. It has great suction. I have had this vacuum for 5 months and love it. It's easy to maneuver and clean. I convinced my mom to get one as well. She has arthritis and is a cancer survivor so she needs a vacuum that she can push and maintain her energy. She loves it and vacuums more because its easy to handle. Best purchase by far!!
Not what I expected
UNfortunately this vacuum, although it has GREAT suction power…it is unbalanced and continuously falls over when trying to use the hose attachments instead of the unit on its own…SO disappointed...
Perfect for pet hair
Love this vacuum. I have harrwood floors and 5 rescue dogs. That means pet hair and pet dander. This vacuum does a great job of getting it all. Very pleased.
Best Vacuum I have ever purchased!
I wasnt sure how the Shark would be, I have been through so many vacuums over the years this was by far the best vacuum I have ever owned! Its so easy to use, with back problems its hard to find a vacuum that doesnt leave you feeling you ran the marathon, this vacuum actually glides across the floor while picking up everything in its path! Its the best vacuum by far! I love it!
Best Vacuum I've Ever Used
First, I've got 3-6 dogs in my home at any given point. This is spectacular at keeping the dog hair gone, esp w all the attachments...you can clean anywhere!
Not to mention the fact that you can lift the canister out and make it portable. So easy for stairs.
Suction is unbelievable. I never knew a vacuum could do this well.
The only KIND OF negative I cld thing of is the weight? I have no trouble with it at all but if you're looking for a feather weight this isn't it. But I personally would not call it a heavy vacuum.
I would def recommend this to anyone. My sister & mother have actually gotten one as well.
Love This Shark
It's amazing. Picks up the pet hair so well. Love it.
Great suction and easy to use...could be a little wider
Not worth the $$$$
Although the infomercial was quite intriguing, the product is not. It falls over constantly. Suction is NOT that good. I purchased the machine because I loved the idea of having a "lint pad" pick up any left over dust or dog hair that floated away during the vacuuming process. I clean the "lint pad" more than I dump the collection bin. Although the product looks like its easy to manipulate, it is top heavy and out of balance. I have owned this machine 6 months and hate it.
I love how this vacuum works on all floors. I have hardwood floors, area rugs, and wall to wall carpet. Makes vacuuming easy.
Best vacuum ever
This by far is the best vacuum I have ever purchased. After doing my research between this and the Dyson I'm glad I made the decision to buy the shark. After vacuuming my home for the first time using this new vacuum I realized just how bad my old vacuum was. Here's to never having dirty carpets again.
I was initially excited to get my new Shark vac but quickly became disappointed. There are many, many good aspects of the vacuum but one I cannot overcome is the unsteadiness of the unit. I've had the vac about 9 months during which time I've suffered several black & blue toes; bruises on my arms & legs and most recently a large dent and scratch on an antique cabinet. The vacuum is top heavy and tips over very easily when you're using the the attachments or even if it's just standing there. I've tried several different ways of using it but nothing has helped. The vacuum suction is great and I love the bare wood floor attachment. I also like the smaller head and its' lighter weight than other vacs. Unfortunately, both of these pluses work against its steadiness. I wouldn't recommend this vacuum unless you don't intend to use the attachments that often.
I decided to try this vac after getting tired of buying bottom of the line vacs from Walmart which lost suction a year later. The draw of five monthly payments made the decision for me. It arrived on time, the suction is great and there are lots of attachments which make it very easy to use. I'm only 5'1", and it is very light to carry up and down stairs. There is even a hardwood floor attachment which can be used on tile as well. The only improvement I would make is a light to make sure you don't run over things on dark carpet.
