Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW ! SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT, SUPER CLEANING ! I had watched demonstrations of the SHARK vacuums so when the motor on mine blew up I knew I wanted to try a SHARK .I have had some health issues so I knew I did not want to push around a heavy vacuum BUT I wanted the power. Well, I want to share with you not only did I get the surprise of receiving my SHARK 3 days early BUT when I plugged it in and took the first glide across my carpet I was amazed ! Not only is it so light in weight but the suction is awesome, my carpet looked wonderful ! BUT, here was a super discovery when I pushed the button for the brushes the vacuum began to pull itself !!WOW ! Then I ran it across my wooden floors BEAUTIFUL !! I truly recommend this SHARK to anyone especially if pushing a heavy vacuum is hard for you. LIGHT WEIGHT WITH THE CLEANING POWER OF A HEAVY VACUUM. THANK YOU SHARK !!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So-So as far as Sharks go This mid-range vacuum is okay, as far as vacuums go. I purchased it because I have one small carpeted room on the first floor and tire of lugging my heavier Navigator up and down the stairs. It has a decent pick up and gets in most small spaces even though it doesn't have a swivel head. The main drawback is that there are separate power on and brush roll on buttons and they are on opposite sides of the handle. It's awkward having to turn each one on separately. The brush roll indicator light that is supposed to indicate whether the brush roll is engaged or not doesn't light up, but that's mostly an annoyance. When you buy something brand new all the bells and whistles should work right out of the box, right? I won't won't return it for that. I doubt I'll get the 8+ years out of this that I've so far received from my Infinity Upright, but I expect to at least get my money's worth.
