Very pretty and soft but... Very pretty and soft but did not stand up to water. I wore the golves for a long time while working in my garden but not until they got wet did there true colores show up. The nitrile curled away from the fabric and split at the fingers. I found this just this morning and was very surprised. Two pairs ruined had to thro in trash. Gardening gloves should at least last the entire summer gardening season and be able to be washed. 05-25-12
These gloves actually motivated me to pull weeds I received these gloves about 6 weeks ago but have not needed them until this weekend for spring planting. I wore them while planting flower bulbs and they worked great for me. I could separate the mangled roots from the bulb with these gloves on, they are like second skin. Next, since my husband was toiling so much trying to weed, I decided to help. I put on my gloves began pulling up weeds, thistles, even newly formed briars and this was a breeze. I am not recommending you grab a rose bush with these gloves, but I found they were quite effective in pulling up new spring growth, including baby briars, with ease. Then I trimmed dead azalea branches and my hands did not get all scratched up. I must confess, I was going to send these back after reading some reviews, but thought it was not fair since I never gave them a try. Glad I tried them. My hands are small but the fit is okay for me. They do arrive kinda mashed together, but it took me less than 2 minutes to separate them. Give them a try. I found they work well for me. 03-26-12
Will work for me in the garden I was disappointed that they arrived stuck together. When I pulled them apart the pattern from one stayed on the next pair. I had wanted to use some as a prize in a garden club auction, but couldn't because they didn't look good. If you could correct that problem, they would be great. 03-26-12
not bad at all These gloves are not bad, mine were a bit stuck together, but pulled apart easily, no problems. My hands are average in size, so they fit fine, fingers might be a little loose, but for working in the flower beds, using the lawn mower, they will be perfectly fine. Cute patterns, and seem sturdy enough, had to use them to pick up some debris after a big wind storm and they worked fine. 03-21-12
Did not like I ordered this set and planned on making them part of a Spring gift. No way!! When they arrived the first thing I thought was, how cheap. They stuck together in shipping and when I peeled them apart the pattern had transferred from one glove design onto the other. They remind me of Duck tape. These looked cute online but these are going back. Don't waste your money. 03-10-12
I stand among the few...I REALLY LIKE THESE! Yes, they were stuck together when they arrived and yes I do have a few pricks in my thumb BUT with that being said....... I did not have a problem pulling the gloves apart and I put them on and they fit TERRIFIC!! Best pair of gloves I have ever worn gardening and, trust me, I don't like wearing gloves gardening. They just don't fit right. When I seen these on QVC, they said they were tough to penetrate and I was a doubting Thomas because I had some raspberry vines that had overgrown a couple flowerbeds that needed pulling up by the roots badly. I had been putting it off because I didn't have a proper pair of gloves with which to do it with. So I ordered these and when they arrived, I thought ....perfect, I will put them to the test. I spent an hour and one half pulling up raspberry vines and as long as I grabbed them close to the ground then they didn't come through the gloves. There were a few that did make it but after an hour and one half and I only have a few.......these gloves are miracle workers! I had not been able to find any gloves like this up to now. They fit like a second skin when I had them on. The top is not coated but I think it was well worth the purchase. 03-05-12
Very flexible! I will share these gloves with some friends. They are well made and very flexible and I can't wait to start gardening. 03-02-12
These protect and breathe.... I love these. Yes, they came stuck together but not a big deal. They breathe, have good grip and are pretty too. No, they will not prevent thorns from coming through but I have other gloves for that. I gave one pair to my mail carrier because she was complaining about how the mail dries her hands out but plastic gloves make her hands sweat and regular gloves are slippery. She LOVES these and all the girls at the post office are going to order them when they come back in stock. Love these! 03-02-12
Ditto... To all the other reviews. Came stuck together and very thin, would not last planting one rose bush with thorns. Also very large for lady hands. Will stick to my Ole' Tried and True worn gloves. Will send back if QVC will pay shipping. 02-29-12
A Joke This is my very first One Star. The sticking together did no bother me. Its when I touched a rose bush thorns did the real drama unfold. Its no wonder you get five pairs...they aren't going to last. One pair of good gloves would have costs $20. 02-28-12
Not worth the money I used to hate gardening gloves. However, I love the coated gloves that are available nowadays - but not these. They are very thin and yes a bit long in the fingers. When I opened the package I expected them to be all stuck together as reviews have said and they were. But when you pulled one pair off another the print from one was left on the other. Now I could have lived with this as they were all for me and not a gift for someone else but the coating between the finger area was already pulling away from the glove and that's just unacceptable. These are junk gloves and would not last a day in my garden. I will say this, QVC customer service is the best in the business and is why I shop the Q. If the customer service wasn't as good as it is I wouldn't take chances on things I don't know about. 02-26-12
TOO LARGE!!! I agree with so many of the others writing reviews; who are these gloves made for, certainly not for any women I know. The fingers are so large that dexterity is not possible; I couldn't even pick up a piece of paper from my table. Would return but cost of return is too high. 02-18-12
