K36440 - Set of 4 Silicone Brownie Bowl Forms
I ordered 2 sets of these & used them for the first time. They worked great! I coated them with crisco before using them & had no trouble with them. They are a really nice idea for a fun dessert. I made 6 "cake cups" & individually froze a few of them for future use. I'm glad I bought this product. Also very easy to store, they all fit together & take up a minimum of space.
These brownie bowls are one of the best baking tools I have ever purchased. I use them for so many different recipes. I highly recommend them for anyone from the baking novices to professional chefs. The reviewer that gave one star for this product is completely innacurate, and should take some baking lessons. Enjoy!!!
I don't know what I do wrong with these! I followed all the directions exactly and have used these several times. For some reason, my brownies and cakes come out "mush". They just plop out and fall apart! Made these for a special someone's birthday and what a mess!
Love my "brownie" bowls!
Have used them for brownies with chocolate pudding and a dollop of cool whip, yellow cake mix with strawberries and cool whip for "cool" strawberry shortcake and for cornbread for chili.
Fun and satisfies that "different" something we all search for.
These Brownie Bowls are so cute and do just as they are supposed too. 5 Stars to them. The things you can do with them are endless. I encourage all to try these. Thanks QVC for having a new and unique idea.
I used a strawberry cake mix and 8 silicone bowls 6 of them turned out great 2 of them stuck to the side so I think next time I am going to use oleo or butter it doesn't run to the bottom. I also used jello and filled it with fruit. Really good. Love em...
made brownie cakes for strawberries and they were perfect.
These brownie bowls were easy to use. Just let the item completely cool. I made a box yellow cake in them for strawberry short cake and they were great...much better than the store bought sponge cake. I'm thinking they might be good to make shrimp bowls....just add water and freeze. Put shrimp cocktail in the bowl and arrange the shrimp around the edge. I also think the set needs to be bigger, at least 8 per set.
I received these babies this morning and after curing them (please cure first before using them) I used a pound cake mix to make my first batch, then I used a brownie mix.
I am going to serve the pound cake ones for strawberry shortcake and the brownies filling them with ice cream for Mother's Day. I plan to order another set I love them so much. Also a note about letting them cool before removing them from the mold. Just do it so they don't tear.
Just received mine in the mail a week ago and made brownies from a box -there was enough batter left to make a dozen brownie bites using a different silicon mold I have. I did let them cool for about 45 minutes and they came out of the mold perfectly..... served them with vanilla ice cream! YUM! ... it was a bit much on the chocolate (can't believe I said that!!) but definitely delicous!! Can't wait to try out other recipes. I think I might have to buy a nother set.. 4 doesn't cut it in my house!!
Tried them last night. The ‘curing’ is a very important step…glad I took the time to do it; however, I did not take the time to wait until they cooled off …NOW I KNOW. My husband loved his fresh strawberry and ice-cream shortcake version. Now I am ready to bring the grandkids and ‘play’.
O-M-G Brownie bowls!! Fabuuulous!!
Let me just say ..I love these! This is my first silicone baking tool ever! I made my home made brownie recipe with whole walnuts! Yum!
The scenario.....Warm homemade brownie bowls filled with two scoops of premium vanilla ice cream ...the kids went to town decorating and devouring!
FYI: I pre-greased the bowl with a bit of butter in place of cooking spray. Patience is not my virtue so I waited till the bowls were warm ( not hot ) to turn them out. They released with no problems.
