Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Purchased 2 sets, one gold, one red. One of the red trees does not work which is very disappointing. Was going to give as a gift.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Home Spun Sugar Trees by Valarie Love them. I put the two trees and spheres in my hutch and they are beautiful. I gave them four stars, because they drain the batteries too fast. I received the multi-colored ones. Everyone loves them and they look like glass. Will reorder if or when they come back in stock. Thanks Valerie.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lights worked For 30 Seconds Put new batteries in really lights worked for 30 Seconds or less and wouldn't come back on. It is cheap plastic something that you would find in dollar store. Going back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap Trees These are definitely not up to a Valerie Parr hill item, cheap, crooked terribly made I agree that they look like I bought at a dollar store very disappointed will keep as its not convenient to return items and pay a lot of money to return not worth it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spun Sugar Ornament I got the tall ones, not the balls & I really like them. I got them in red, after debating if I should get them in silver. They did not look cheap, they light up beautifully & will look great on Valerie's pedestals. No cracks, no complaints at all. A very pretty addition to the Christmas decorations I already have.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective and not worth the money... I hate to return things but if they are defective I am left no choice. These spun sugar trees and spheres are ghastly. The plastic is cracked in some areas and the ornaments are placed in such a way that the rusty open top is visible for all to see. I bought several sets of these to go with my gingerbread display but I just can't use them. I would rather spend more and get something that will last for years. However, that theory doesn't work with these because they were not inexpensive. There seems to be so many complaints relative to these that I hope Valerie chooses something different next year to replace them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap! I echo what other reviewers have said this product is made very cheaply, both of mine have cracked plastic so I will have to turn so the cracked area isn't visible. These are made in China, are there no other countries that manufacture this type of product? I think that people would rather pay more and get better quality that will last and always look good. One of the trees that I received leans to one side so it will need to have something placed under it to level it. This will be the last purchase I make from Valerie, these are not my first disappointment with her products, but it is the last.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from On the Fence Debating whether to return these trees. As others have indicated, the trees are overpriced. They do look okay when lit and even from a distance when not lit; however, if you get up close they look cheap. It's mainly that "spun glass" around the tree it look cheap. I wouldn't display them anywhere where people could get close enough to see how cheap they look, but might be okay on a high shelf somewhere. I wouldn't say they look like something available at a dollar store, but just not what I expected for the price. If they had been priced consistent with the quality, like for around $30, I wouldn't hesitate to keep. I will leave them out for a few days to see if I should return them,
