Sarah Potempa The Wrap-Up - Set of 2
Total waste of money!
There are SO MANY things wrong with these gadgets I can hardly list them, but two things stand out. The wire inside them feels like the wire a clothing hanger is made out of! There is no "memory" to it, it just bends, and has to be bent back again, meaning it is going to fatigue and break in no time at all. Secondly, the fabric in the center of the item is smooth and soft, meaning hair just slides through it. There is no way one can slide this gadget down to the end of the pony tail and start rolling the hair up and around it, the minute any tension is put on the hair it will just slide out of the holder! If I had paid fifty cents each for these things in a bargain store I'd have just thrown them away, but considering I paid A WHOLE LOT more than that, they are going back to QVC immediately, and any thoughts I entertained about purchasing a curling iron from this line just went out the window on wings! The inventor's ideas may be good, but the execution and materials used are so cheap that the product is junk right out of the package. Upgrade to memory wire inside these and silicone bands or short-toothed combs in the interior opening, so that these gadgets actually grab and hold the hair solidly, and you might have a useful product!
Good Not Great
My hair is half way down my back and there is alot of it. This stays in and keeps the hair up, but even with all my hair, some of the wrap still shows. Its hard to get the hair spread all the way around the thing because of its size. Great for around the house, but I would not feel comfortable wearing this for dressy occasions. With that caveat, I would recommend this.
I use the wrap-up everyday because I have to keep my hair up and away from my 8 month old. I have really long and thick hair and it holds all day. The wrap-up creates the perfect bun.
life saver for the summer!
I have long hair and i have use them many times during the hot summer. At first it didnt work for me but the more i tried the better I got and I love them! Give it a try and you will love it too!
I love this product. It's light weight and very easy to use. A great replacement for the Hairdini. I don't use it the way the direction say. I gather my hair up in a ponytail with out the rubberband and slide the Wrapup to the ends of my hair (not beween the opening but around both) and roll up, bend both ends together and I'm done. I gives height and style for day and keeps my long hair out of the way when sleeping. A great befit is it also gives you wonderful curls! LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!!!
Love this item, Despite the previous negative reivew. Works great in my hair
not worth the price
Got this last week and its very bulky and not functional. Its going back.
I learned about the "sock bun" online and it's usually fairly easy to do but every now and then I struggle with it. So when I saw this I thought this would be perfect and probably easy ALL the time. While it IS very easy the final results were not nearly as pretty or full looking as the "sock bun". If you don't know what the sock bun is just do an online search. Super cheap, very easy and the end result is beautiful.
