What is it: The Beachwaver is a rotating curling iron that gives you red carpet-ready waves with the touch of a button. Designed by a celebrity hairstylist, this professional-quality curling iron has a user-friendly design that allows you to use it on yourself.

The two-sided detangling comb has teeth on one side to smooth out tangles and uneven hair. The other side is a holder for the comb, which offers even tension while preparing the hair for styling. Made with heat-resistant material, it can be used simultaneously with hot tools.

Who is it for: If you love trendy waves, but don't know how to curl your own hair, or have limited time, the Beachwaver is for you! It's the perfect curling iron for the girl on the go, and works best on anyone with shoulder-length or longer hair. This iron was created for women who have difficulty using professional tools, but want trendy, gorgeous waves.

Why is it different: The Beachwaver is an innovative curling iron with a unique design that was developed by a hairstylist. With Sarah's extensive work as a celebrity hairstylist, she found women had a hard time curling their own hair. She wanted to create an iron that let women use it on themselves. The Beachwaver allows you to control the side you are curling--with a Left and Right button--and rotates for you. Not only is it designed to save time, it also makes it easy to curl your hair. The digital temperature dial lets you select a temperature--from 310F to 450F--based on your hair type.

How do I use it: Use the detangling comb to remove all tangles from hair. Then, starting at the root, smooth hair down as you slowly close the tension rod to prepare hair to be styled. Select Left or Right on the Beachwaver. Clamp it near the ends of the hair, with the clamp facing you. Press GO to start the rotation of the rod. Hold down the GO button as it rotates up, and release the button to stop the rotation. Hold for 10 to 15 seconds, then release the clamp.

Effortless Awesome Hair!! LOVE this curling iron! I would 100% recommend this to anyone with long hair! I swear I use this like every other day! I used it for all my holiday hair dos and looked GREAT! Its worth every penny! If you think about it... a girl with long hair will pay at least $40 bucks every time you get a style done so its totally worth it!! Its very easy to use and it doesn't take long for you to figure out how to curl your hair a few different ways to get a variety of beautiful looks! I wouldn't get it if your hair isn't at least to your shoulders... I think its really best for longer hair. My hair type is thin/ naturally wavy/ just past my shoulders with long & short layers. I can even use this to put a soft curl on my side swiped bangs. PERFECT hair every time! 01-15-13

Surprised how well this worked I have tried to get beach waves in my hair using a regular curling iron, hot rollers, and the instyler. The result was full curly hair, not loose waves. This tool was easy to use and gives the curls you see in all the magazines. Love it! 01-13-13

Not for me Great concept but lacks a few things yet before I would commit this amount of money. The control buttons should be raised and easy to feel when doing blind spots, like the back of your head. Even though the temp can be regulated, it burned my fine hair ends if I kept it on long enough to obtain a wave, and the clamp wasn't quite strong enough to hold my fine hair in. I think Sarah really has a great idea here, but I'll stick to my regular 1" barrel iron for now. 01-13-13

Love Love Love This! I thought I would try this since I wear my hair straight with a little bend. I'm in my 50's so I wanted to see how it would work for me. Extremely easy to use and I love the style for my hair. My husband says I look young. This is well worth the money. 01-13-13

OMG! First thing to ever curl my hair! I love this curling iron! I have super thick, coarse hair that will not hold curl at all with hot rollers or a regular curling iron. Nothing Short of AMAZING! Hello! Why didn't I think of this ingenious product! Years of curling my hair with everything available over 3 decades and this gem of a product has ROCKED my hair and my attitude! Easy to use! Beautiful results that look like I went to a salon! Really happy I bought this!! I got mine before it was waitlisted - really happy b/c I was like one of the last qty. I did not want to wait for QVC to bring it back in stock so I went for it, and got 5 easy pmts! Mine came beautifully packaged - NEW - happy I did NOT receive a return. The curls lasted all day, it was very easy to use, the clips are great to section my hair, the comb does give me the volume I need. This is really great for me to add on to my hair styling products! Good idea needs redesign Watching the demo on TV convinced me to purchase this expensive item. I have thick hair and am experienced using styling tools such as flat irons, curling irons, hot rollers - I own several of each and have used all with success. I was looking for a faster way to get beachy curls - which my newest flat iron produces with great success (purchased from my stylist and it's one of those that can flat iron or produce curls depending on how it's used). The Beachwaver doesn't produce enough curl and doesn't last as long as my current iron produces, worse, it takes even longer because the 'clip' on the Beachwaver is rather short and cannot grab enough hair - I have a lot of hair. If something could be done with the weight of this product that would be helpful - it's heavy. The main redesign I'd suggest is that the clip be made longer. It was cumbersome to try to keep the Beachwaver facing a particular direction in order to use it properly. I didn't buy that other rotating curler (also available on QVC) although it sounded intriguing so I can't compare it with that product. Basic is best. I returned this item and will continue to use my current tools which work much better. Disappointment. 01-05-13

Can't live without this now! I was wary from the reviews and the price but WOW, I am so glad that I bought this. I have fine straight hair and it's boring as can be. As a mom I have so little time to style my hair this thing is a LIFESAVER. It's so easy to use, just after one time of practice I got the hang of it. My curls LAST and last and last. I don't brush them out the first day and kind of leave them very curly 2nd day I run my fingers through my hair and have that beachy look and on the 3rd day before washing I can brush it out and have beautiful body or wear it up in a cute wavy pony tail. My hair is very long too (past my shoulders by a few inches) and I love the length of the barrel because it gets all of my hair. I can say bye to hot rollers finally. It takes me a while to do my whole head (some can mange in 10 min) but it takes me about 15-20 depending though I can do it as quick as 10 for less curl. It's just added a lot to my confidence in having my hair always looking nice and polished. I love that I don't feel like I am doing damage to my hair with the heat either. And I use Wen cleansing conditioner which may also help with how much body I can get out of my hair. Thank you thank you thank you I love this. 01-04-13

MIRACLE TOOL I can not believe how wonderful this curling iron is. I have long thin hair and NEVER was able to curl my hair with curlers, curling iron or anything else without the curl falling out within an hour or two. I tried the beachwaver and not only was it easy and fast to curl my entire head but it also held the curl for the day, I even woke up the next morning with still curls in my hair (little messy though). ABSOLUTELY AMAZING can not recommend this enough. MY new best friend in the morning I can curl my entire head in less then 10 minutes and it stays the entire day. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT 01-04-13
