E222576 - Samsung T330 Compact Slider Tracfone w/ 1200 Minutes
I purchased this phone and had nothing but trouble getting it activated. For almost
2 weeks I was given 3 different numbers and one of the "CUSTOMER SERVICE"
persons at tracfone gave me a number for HSN even after I told him I purchased the phone from QVC. The phone is on it's way back and I will now go to Walmat, buy a phone and take it to Verizon for minutes. I will say this has no reflection on QVC, for I
have never been so dissatisfied with a company like Tracfone.
Rob minutes and minutes
Bought this T330 5-27-2012 with 1200 minutes, hundreds and hundreds minutes were gone for no reason, had contacted Tracfone and was told nothing wrong with the phone.
Early January 2013 with 197 minutes left, on 1-27-2013 176 minutes left, in the next morning only 0.4 minutes, I have been very careful to prevent minutes being gone with the wind. as for now at 12:31 1-29-2013 o.1 minutes. and 188 service long days to go.
Are there some ones have better luck than me? Don't be fooled and lured by the 1200"
and Triple minutes for life.
Horrible Experience With Tracphone!
I called to activate this phone on 1-12 and was told it could take any where from 2 to 24 hours to complete. Three days later they completed the transfer while I had them on the phone but I had no service. Long story short and after over two hours working with rep trying to get my service to work we could not. I now a a TMobIle account because somehow they transferred me over to them. Still waiting for them to port my number back to original provider and it 's been two days. My carrier could not believe what they were dealing with.

This was the second of two trac phones within two weeks.Activation went great.Total 3 hrs from activation to loaded minutes. This was my second trac phone order.this phone was for my husband.Looking forward to saving money with triple minutes!Thanks QVC
OK for purpose intended
I received this phone yesterday and sat down with my cell phone to start the process of getting it going for my Mother. I put the battery in the phone and was not really careful about taking off all the clear protective coating, so at first I couldn't get the back to stay on. I managed to get all the coating off and it seems to fit fine now. I went by the instructions included in the package by QVC. The first phone number I called was the Tracfone live person who was obviously not a native Texas as I am and I couldn't understand a word he said. He connected me to his supervisor and communication was somewhat better, however, there was still a little language barrier. He managed to get across to me how to retrieve the phone number for the phone and get it going so far as the first 10 minutes provided. I then called the second number to activate the 1200 minutes offered in the QVC special plan. That was all done on the phone thru an automated voice. I was told it would take 24 hours for the minutes to show up on the phone. However after about 5 minutes, Whoop! there they were. Phone works great and will serve my 84 year old Mother very well (she used 2 minutes on her old phone last month) provided she can find it in her purse. Phone is super small.
I tried to activate the phone on line and was not able to complete it , so had to call Tracfone and they had to do the whole process. It lasted 2 days and it stopped working. So I had to call tracfone back and they told me they would send me a new phone as they couldn't fix the problem. So I'm without a cell phone until I receive the new one and do all the activation process again. Not to happy not having a phone for the next 3-5 days.
I purchased this phone to cut back on phone expense. It doe not ring loud enough to hear it if you are not right by it. I checked to see about adding a speaker but no place to connect. I should have done more checking before purchasing. I use another cell phone and can hear it ring. My friends and family keep telling me to throw it away because they can not reach me. I'm not pleased at all with this purchase. Thank you.
I was pleased with all i received with my phone and would recommend it to a friend or family.It is easy to use and holds a charge long.I really like all the minutes i received and the air time
Back Keeps Falling Off
I had to return the phone bacause I couldn't get the back of the phone to stay on. I really wanted this to work because it seems like a great deal, but returned it because I was afraid I would lose the battery.
Just what the doctor ordered
This is exactly what I needed. After 11+ years with one the the cell industry's oldies I felt like I was getting ripped and decided to put an end to it. This is just the product. All the minutes I need. Fast phone activation and problem-free minute activation. Fantastic!
Good phone for low to mid users
Received this phone a week ago and so far, so good. I had no problems at all activating the phone or redeeming air time pkg. Just followed the 2-Step instructions on paper insert inside shipping box. Went online to Tracfone, followed the prompts and instant activation. Then, called phone number (also on same paper inside shipping box) to redeem air time, following voice instructions. Of note, it did take entering my QVC order # twice but accepted the number on second try. My phone updated within 5 minutes.
As to understanding and operating the phone, it's generally easy to navigate although the owners book was very limited as to the info provided. For a couple of features that were vaguely explained, I went to the Samsung website to access the owers manual (in PDF format) and this provided me with much more indepth instruction.
The phone is a bit smaller than I expected but the display screen is a fairly good size. A good thing as my close-object eyesight isn't what it used to be and I have no problems seeing the display, plus I can change the size of the typed display, a nice feature.
I gave the phone 4 stars mainly because the keypad is so very tiny that it's hard to press the buttons individually (and I have small hands/fingers even for a woman). My husband didn't like the keypad at all...then again he has very large hands and fingers. I would rarely attempt a text because of keypad button size.
All in all this is good phone for my very limited requirements as I am not inclined to simply phone-chat for a long period of time. Prepaids work well for me for this same reason. This is the 3rd Tracfone we have purchased and have never had any problems with downloading minutes, area reception problems, dropped calls, etc. Again, very good for the limited user, not a person that considers a phone as a necessary appendage of their anatomy.
If you can get through the hoopla of activation
I returned this item not because of the unit itself which I am certain is satisfactory but because of thestress of trying to activate it and to get the bonus minutes added. Impossible. Way too complicated because the phone would not accept the order number I had on my QVC invoice! No live person to correct this so I just packed it up and shipped it back. I had a similar one last year and it was fine. Take a chance if you are a patient person.
