Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unreliable and poor service I bought this TV for my Dad in August. One day in early-Feb, the video completely died in the middle of a program - no picture whatsoever. The TV was not even 6 months old. Luckily, it is still under warranty, so I called Samsung. After quite a while on the phone, we were told that a serviceman would come out. The first appointment available was a week later! Does this mean that they don't have enough technicians, or that their TV's are so unreliable that they're very busy? I'm not sure, but neither answer is a good one. So now, my Dad has no living room TV for a week, while waiting to see what they're going to do about the problem (BTW - this week happened to include Super Bowl Sunday). I've never had a TV go bad this quickly. I'll likely never buy another Samsung. Will stick with Sony, Panasonic, or Vizio - I've never had any problems with these brands' reliability.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features but a little slow This is a great product. It seems that the smart hub and apps load pretty slowly however. The volume and speakers aren't very loud as well. It is so clear and has been a great asset.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another Great Samsung TV I have four Samsung TVs in my home today. This is the first and only one that had a defect out-of-the-box. Along the bottom edge, just left of the centerline, there is a faint light half moon that extends about 2 inches from the bottom edge and is 4 inches across at the bottom edge. It is invisible except when the broadcast screen is very dark in that area of the screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy set up and great picture This is our first digital TV. Yes we have finally moved on from the analog TV with a converter box age. The TV was very easy to set up. Within an hour of getting home from the store we were watching it. The picture is sharp and bright. Really like the feature of viewing the photos on this TV. This was very easy to do and the pictures taken at National Parks look great on this TV. Control of the TV through the remote is easy and fairly intuitive. It was easy to set up the TV to use a keyboard or mouse. (See instructions in the e-Manual.) The keyboard or mouse is helpful for using the built in browser. Because we are using an antenna, we would have liked, however, the option to scan for new channels without deleting the existing channels.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not compatible TV is fine but the Smart features are disappointing. We wanted to live stream from Facebook and the TV is not compatible. We needed flash player and customer service said the TV is not compatible. I returned the TV the next day. Will not buy a Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This TV has a beautiful look. My experience with purchasing a new 43" Samsung TV could not have been a better experience from selecting the right one, hooking it up and to registering it. Our guestroom users love the clarity of the picture and the ease in maneuvering through the channels.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great TV with big misses This TV has an outstanding picture - great detail and color. While advertised as a smart TV, it is not very smart. They have a big functionality miss...the lack of a bluetooth keyboard capability. This is such a big miss, I cannot recommend it as a smart TV. Unless you want to stretch a USB cable from your TV to your viewing position, it makes using this TV for anything that requires key entry (like surfing the web) totally useless. Go find another TV if you want smart TV functionality.
