Samsung 3.1-Channel 340W Soundbar and WirelessActive is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Waste your money I had the HW-K550 and it was awesome( the model that was replaced by m550) the m550 for me is worse. The subwoofer lacks a punch and the k550 would bring down the house....granted the k550 subwoofer and soundbar blew speakers and now the m550 i have is having speaker and Bluetooth issues as well...i regret getting this soundbar and wish had gone with a different model...nothing but problems

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great sound before i purchase this soundbar i had an sharp soundbar with a Sony 10" Sub woofer, and the bass was pounding no complaints, so i notice the difference right away with the Samsung, but i learn that when you watch movies is not about only bass is about quality sound and the perfect sound effect of the movie you are watching, so to my opinion the sub woofer is not the louder out there but it does the job done, and this soundbar have the quality sound for it.better way to use the soundbar connectivity is using the TV Bluetooth to pair with the soundbar for some reason get about 10% louder then using the HDMI or the optical digital cable, great value, great sound. thank you Samsung.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value Most of the reviews are correct on the sub woofer output.: it is low. But, I have mine next to the couch, and it does provide "depth of field" and improves the overall experience. I added the wireless rear speakers, and while (also plagued by low volume) substantially enhances the overall performance. The best feature is the center channel: dialog is superb

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Where's the Bass? The soundbar and wireless Bluetooth subwoofer paired effortlessly with my new 75" UHD Samsung TV. Unfortunately, it lacks sufficient bass from the subwoofer, even when turned up to max. The only time the bass is evident is at volume levels of 70+.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weak base I got this at Best Buy with the wireless rear speaker. However after trying it out for 2 weeks I just had to return it. Had it connected to my Samsung 49in UHD and wanted it for gaming on Xbox one with the 5.1 Chanel setup. However the Base was just to weak. Had the sub woofer maxed out at +6 and also the Base under setting at +6 but when playing games still could not get the bang. I was planing on replacing my LG 4.1 that's about 2 years old with this one for 5.1 but the Samsung just did not compete. I do really hope Samsung next model will correct this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bass is very weak. Very disappointed in this sound bar. My 5 year old LG was far superior. This is a BAD buy!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sub Lacks Punch I just bought this to upgrade from the 2.1 HW-JM45C/ZA. The sub on that one stopped putting any punch on movies at all. There was a little sound, but not much. This one did not impress me much either. The soundbar is great as it has a center channel to it. But the sub lacks punch to it as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weak subwoofer Great sound through the actual sound bar, center channel a little to dominant, lacking that bass punch. otherwise good sound. The Subwoofer is the big drawback on this product. its volume is weak and doesn't give you that sound you expect to receive from a subwoofer.
