Rated 5 out of 5 by Kitchenredesign Outstanding performance with sleek slide-in design
The stove top and oven look like more expensive professional models. The range and oven perform quickly and uniformly. It is my first experience with a convection oven and I find that it's balanced heating make it an easy transition. I also like that the door is closed during the broil function.
My only concern is that the touch display engages very easily. I expected that it would activate when the "wake up" position was touched, but the screen lights easily when any part is touched - as in wiping the oven front or glass screen. While the screen does light none of the oven functions have activated unintentionally which I expect is part of Samsung's thoughtful design.

Cooking is a cinch with this slide in electric range. Cleaning is also a piece of cake. I just wish the bottom drawer was a warming tray.

This is a good looking electric Range. Only used it a couple of times. It so far works great. Never had a rrange with so many different items on it. If it works likes it looks it is a winner.

Sleek looking. Fast heating. Designer look. Only thing missing is a simmer setting for the cooktop burners.

This is our first new range in 27 years.! We purchased a Samsung Electric Range because we have several televisions by Samsung and have been extremely pleased with them. We love the design, performance and easy care of this range.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Polo2 Just What We Wanted
Since moving into our house nearly nine years ago and living with the relatively new, mid-level appliances the previous owner had installed, we had been compiling a list of features we wanted when we eventually replaced them. When we decided to completely renovate our kitchen, I spent a couple of weeks researching all the possibilities for stove, microwave/exhaust hood, dishwasher and refrigerator.
When we considered all stoves that would meet our minimum requirements set, we were able to then compare them based first on reviews (especially reliability) and then price. In the end, we chose the NE58F9500SS/AA drop-in, ceramic-top electric range and paired it with an MC17J8000 over-the-range microwave/exhaust hood (reviewed separately). We purchased both from a national home improvement center at prices we found to be competitive with other suppliers.
This stove has all the features we wanted and quite a few more. Turning on a stove-top burner is straightforward but getting the most out of the oven and other features requires reading the user manual. Fortunately, both the manual and the stove's user interface are pretty intuitive so the learning curve is not too steep. That said, we have only be using the stove for a few days so I cannot comment on reliability or say anything further on most of the features since we haven't used them yet.
