I bought the green and gray and I have never had more compliments from any of my regular glasses I have purchased that were much more expensive. I had eye surgery and was told since I had a bad astigmatism I'd still have to wear glasses to read. Well, I used these, but still couldn't read, as they weren't strong enough. (My Dr. turned out to be a quack). He finally told me he would put a prescription in for free, IF I provided the glasses. I decided to use the gray. The lady who is in the glasses department was very impressed with these frames and they had nothing like them in her hundreds of glasses. If I had had to pay for the free prescription, she said it would have cost me $380.00, plus the cost of glasses, which would have cost me around $600.00! Someone said they were not fashionable, but I think they are so cool and so do a lot of other people.

I bought the progressive readers after having cataract surgery in both eyes. The doctor prescribed glasses for reading and they distort my vision no matter how many times I have been back for correction. I saw these readers on QVC and ordered. They are perfect for my eyes. These are not distorted. I can type and look on the computer and then look up at the TV and see all clearly. I am wearing the 2.5 strength.
I had expensive frames for my prescription glasses and asked the doctor after my last exam if I could have those glasses made like the QVC Hummingbird glasses. They thought these were prescription lenses. I told them where I bought them and they had not seen any like the progressive readers. The doctor ordered a prescription to match the QVC glasses for my frames and when they came back, they were distorted. So, I am totally grateful for the readers I bought on QVC. I have 4 pair. Love them. Thank you QVC!!!!

I like the progressive lens so that I can leave these glasses on all the time and not be constantly looking for my readers. And, I didn't have to spend a fortune on progressive lens and frames as I would have needed to do at an optical store. I also like the shape of these frames. I get a lot of nice comments about the way they look. I would really like to see these same frames in more colors, and in sunglasses lenses.

I purchased these in the black/tort and loved that they are progressive magnification and NO LINE visible but found they were completely useless for computer work since the magnification area is too low on the lens. To see the monitor you have to have your head tipped way back at an uncomfortable angle to "raise" the magnification area. My job involves data entry so when I was looking down reading a document they were great but then I had to tilt my head way back to see the monitor (even with the glasses sitting so high on my nose that my eyelashes were rubbing on the lens) and it made my neck sore right away. I didn't have an issue with the style, they were comfortable to wear and could have been a tiny bit smaller but they did fit me fine and didn't slip. I am keeping them for reading since they work great if all you're doing is looking down at something. Wished they could raise that magnified area some.

Let me say I have ordered many readers from QVC in the past. Never sent any of them back. These however, are beyond disappointing. Great concept but terrible execution. Right off the bat...the frame sizing is off. Not suitable for a small to average women's head; they're way too wide. Additionally, they are unflattering, unfashionable. More important...the progressive lens is defective. Whether you are looking down to read or looking straight ahead, vision is impaired (blurred) at every angle. Thus they are completely and utterly useless. Sorry--but back they go.

These glass are great. For the price, you cannot beat this deal. A regular pair of readers can cost $25 to $30 each. These are fashionable and the lenses are done properly. The graduation of magnification is easy on your eyes. I like the fact that I can see at a distance and then look down and read clearly without having glasses perched on my nose.
These might be too big for some women, but for me they are perfect. I do not want to look like Ben Franklin!!
