very comfy
I have only worn these inside as our ground is still covered with snow and sandal season is still a couple of months away but they feel wonderful. The true test will be actually wearing them on my trip to Florida next month.

Very comfortable shoe
Out of the box comfortable with no breakin period. Am 63 having had two foot
surgeries and with arthritis in my feet. I admit they aren't the prettiest shoes
on the tree but at my age who cares; I'm looking comfort.

Better for my feet than Orthoheel
I just received my Ryka sandles. Prior to that I bought the Orthoheels (Big Mistake). I always thought Dr. Weil was a very intelligent man. Oh well, we all make mistakes. The Rykas fit my foot so well and they do not feel as though I have a rock stuck in my arch. However the other shoes went back and I am now in the process of buying another pair of the Rykas. They really are wonderful on the feet, legs and lower back! You have to buy them and try them to know, and they are less expensive than the orthoheels.

Happy With Purchase
I've kept my eye on these sandals for years. Kept hoping the green would come back into stock, but unfortunately they did not. I like to wear sandals I can slide into around the house instead of slippers, so I can have good support for my feet. I own the Ryka Fisherman Sandal with Hook & Loop Strap in Brown, Black and Denim and wear them all summer long when going places and just love them! I ordered the Navy in this sandal, received them, slipped them on and started wearing them around the house. They are comfortable and I feel the support from the sandal, which I don't get wearing slippers. Wish I hadn't waited so long to try this style, because now it is being discontinued, but I recommend snatching them up while they still have your size and color!

Arch too high !
These sandals would kill my feet with the high arch. So uncomfortable. Returned. The body of the shoe is good and secure on the foot but when you stand it is like being on a large rock.

Most comfy sandals ever
I have wide feet, no arches and heel pain resulting; cannot wear every shoe. I got these in 2 colors and although I actually feel they're kind of ugly, I think they are the most comfortable sandals I've ever had. Have had zero probs w/rubbing on the toe or anywhere else as others have described. In fact, from the moment I put them on, it felt like walking on a cloud. They do run a bit wide, I'd say, but you can tighten them up a bit w/the velcro strap. I'm very surprised to hear anyone say they rub or are uncomfortable. They are extra comfy worn w/socks (yes, dorky, I know, but who cares when walking the dog at dawn!!) Definitely recommend these esp to those like me, flat footed, plantar fascitis or sensitive heels. I wear one pair indoors as slippers, since I have concrete floors underneath thin carpet. They really help prevent heel pain.

Cute but not comfy
I ordered the shoes based on the good reviews and promise of comfort. I got one pair for my mother as well. Speaking only for myself, I had these on for 2h's taking the kids to the park and by the time I got back I had a huge blister on the side of my big toe that doesn't seem to go away soon and the left one is not comfortable at all. Over two weeks I wore them a few times for a few minutes around the house with a band aid covering the blister. They are nice and very soft and would have liked to love them. Too late to return.

Great Sandal.
Love this style . Super comfortable. I don't know is Ryka ever gets to read these comments, but I know I can't be the only one who wishes they would make the footbeds a darker color on their sandals. The light footbed stains so easily that your sandals look old way before their time!

CUTE, BUT....
I have been wanting to try RYKA and this stye seemed perfect for me. The right shoe had a noticeable flaw in the material near the big toe. I hoped my big toe would cover it up, but that didn't work. I can't make comments about the comfort, because I didn't want to send back a dirty pair. The sandals were immediately sent back. I will not reorder.

My Skin Is Gone
I ordered these back in the winter to use for summer vacation. They weren't the same
style as I had previously, but that style seems to have been discontinued.
Anyway, I wore them last night for the first time to a concert at the Jersey Shore and just
from walking a little distance through the town, the shoes were rubbing on the insides of both of my feet, near where the ankle joins the foot, but towards the top. I had no alternative but to keep walking and the fabric just wore my skin away. It seems, although I ordered 10M, the shoes were very wide at the outer sides and gaped when I walked.
I guess I should have tried them out on the carpet longer before wearing them.
Donating to Good Will. Terribly disappointed.

LOVE THEM
I have been wearing other pairs of these Ryka sandals for several summers now and absolutely love how much support they provide and how comfortable they are. I normally wear 9 1/2 sandals but the size 9 fit me just fine. Just ordered and received pairs 4 and 5.

Great Sandal!!!
I have severe knee problems, and will be having replacements soon. It was difficult finding a good shoe with support, yet adjustable to allow me to move the strap if my feet were swollen, due to my knee problems. This is the shoe that does it all! When I was at my orthopedic doctor exam last week, he looked at my sandals and said he was glad to see that I was wearing something with a good insole support. These shoes make my walking easier because they are sturdy. This sandal feels good and looks good. I ordered it in black and navy, and will order another color today. I take a 61/2 - 7 depending on the style. I got these in a 7 medium, and they are perfect since my feet change in size daily depending on the swelling. I am certain these will serve me well even after my surgeries.
