LOVE THESE BOOTS!!
Wore mine for the first time yesterday. A friend and i braved the cold snowy weather and went to an outlet mall. Walking from store to store i didn't even notice that i was wearing new boots-they felt so comfortable!! And my feet stayed nice and dry and toasty warm. Love Ryka!!

These are great (and I'm picky)
These boots are great! I can rarely buy shoes online and even in person. I wear a 10 1/2 AA. Even with that, the 10 in these fits fine! I do think they run a 1/2 size bigger which is why I can wear them considering my foot size. I am a AA, have a high arch/instep and these are no problem. I can wear them all day without any heel pain or sore feet, I can wear them to shovel snow and my feet stay warm with just regular socks.... I can't wear other Ryka shoes although I'd like to because I wear a AA and they only come in medium. I've tried and they are just too wide in the medium. But not these--Don't get me wrong, they aren't narrowl--you won't have an issue I don't think if you need the medium. They just aren't so medium as to make them unwearable, uncomfortable or too loose for my AA. Great job! I've had them 2 years now and they look as great today and they did when I got them. I do not baby them--in fact I wear them only when the weather gets sloppy/snowy/wet!

Quality seems great but a high instep didn't work
The boots seem to be of the usual great Ryka quality but I could not zip them over my instep.

Great boots
I walked five miles the first time I put these on and had no problems at all. Very comfortable, warm, and well-made. I purchased a half size larger so I could wear a heavy winter sock. Recommend for winter weather and heavy walkers.

Good Warm Boot
I've now owned this boot for a couple of years now and have had no problems with them. Read how a lot of people are having trouble with the zipper. This must be a new issue. I've had no problem with the zipper. They keep my feet warm and are very comfortable. I live in Idaho and it has been cold. Lately I have been wearing them a lot. I love them and would recommend them.

LOVE these boots!
Needed a more waterproof higher top bootie and this fit the bill. Feet stay dry and warm WITHOUT sweating. Arch support works well for my high instep. Wasn't sure about the zipper style. But found it zips up nicely and stays zipped when you lock down the little tab. I find Ryka shoes and boots work well for my feet. I like being able to get a winter boot in a half size as well, something that doesn't happen automatically with winter styles. Thanks, Ryka!

worst purchase ever
The boots smelled horrible, could not wear them to work and on top of all that I paid shipping and handling to get the smelley things and I now have to pay to send them back, not a good deal in my book, in fact it stinks, like the boots. I would never recommend these boots, but I have some Bare Traps that I love.

Love Ryka...but this is definitely not the best.
I have bought several Ryka products from QVC. I have loved every one. This boot is even cute as a button, but BELIEVE what everyone says about the zipper. Within one week of wearing three times, I have experienced each complaint. Luckily I am able to work around them and have kept this boot so far because I do like it. However, the design with the zipper up the middle is POOR...it should have been up the side and sturdier. It is too bad because the rest of this boot is great EXCEPT THE ZIPPER.

Cheap Zipper
I bought this pair of boots last November and I loved them. Easy on and off, pretty good traction on pavement, warm, etc. I wore them nearly every day last winter, until about April ( I live in a cold northern state). .However, the second time I put them on this December, the zipper broke on one side and started to separate from the material. I took the boots to a shoe repair store and the man told me it would cost about $25 to replace the zipper due to the way it is sewn into the fabric. He went on to explain this is a very cheap zipper- should not be used for shoes as it is not durable. Oh, well, too late to return for refund. Save your money and buy a good winter boot made in America with a tough zipper. Boots should last more than one season.

These boots are designed bad
When I wore these boots the zipper kept unzipping. There was no stopper or something to hold the zipper from coing unzipped it was really annoying and frustrated me to no end. I got so mad I threw them out. Where your foot bends is here the zipper is so there is constant pressure on the zipper to unzip. Dumb place to put a zipper.

Love my boots
I've owned Ryka's previously and love them. I bought these so when the wintery weather begins I can wear them in confidence when walking my 3 year old English Lab in the snow (and sleet) which is expected to begin in January. The bottom of the boots have deep ridges for good traction. They will be quick & easy to get in and out of with the zipper, too! Although I'm still in a cast from having surgery on my foot I did try the boot on my other foot and am very pleased. I'm a snow lover so I'm anxiously waiting... :-)
