Royal Palace® Rugs: About Rug Shedding
Some shedding is normal for a wool rug. Shedding occurs when static electricity attracts loose wool fibers, or when rubber-soled shoes—like sneakers—break off small wool fibers. This won't affect the wear of the rug. After receiving your new rug, we recommend that you vigorously vacuum it vertically, horizontally, and diagonally, with the brush set at a low setting. Repeat this for 23 days; it's okay if you fill more than one vacuum bag or canister's worth. This vigorous vacuuming will not harm the rug and will help minimize shedding. You can then vacuum regularly with the brush at a medium or high setting, alternating with an upholstery attachment. We recommend vacuuming once every two weeks. You'll find wool fibers in the vacuum bag but, again, this won't affect the wear of your rug.

Stunning Rug! Just received this gorgeous rug in Garnet to go under a new marble dining table. WOW - it is absolutely STUNNING !!! The colors are vibrant and the design is beautiful from all angles. Everyone who comes in notices the rug right away - even before they notice the new table !!! And... Luckily, the color of this rug matches an existing Royal Palace rug in my living room that I purchased a few years ago. So, all in all, I am VERY pleased with my Royal Palace rugs! Love it!!! I received this today in the garnet color. It is absolutely beautiful. Just the accent I needed in my newly redecorated living room. I was so afraid of ordering something like this on line but I am so glad I did. The colors are rich and the quality is nicer than expected. I just love it. 05-24-12

Beautiful Colorations Used I ordered this in the sage; however, I wd hv to call it a bright sage leaning a bit towards lime. It is not the olive sage that you usually expect. It is so alive and the colors used are beautiful. However, I hd to return it bec it was the wrong shade of sage for my bedroom, along w/ the two smaller rugs. I did keep the 3X5 & will use in another room. I wd love to see this rug in an aqua/robin eyes blue shade or a beige/mocha possibly. If you want something that livens up the room, this is the rug. 04-07-12
