I just received my Royal palace 3x5 rug, and I am so disappointed. I am not sure if I am going to send it back as of yet. I had to take it outside to get a good look at it in the bright sun light because it looks dirty liked someone has used it! It is more of a mustard yellow and brown then Ivory. It has patchy dark spots on it. I have an 8x10 Safavieh Milan Shag it is true ivory and absolutely gorgeous! This rug does not match that color at all. This thing sheds worse then a cat. There are tiny fibers every where! I keep vacuuming but they do not go away. I have dark hard wood floors so you can see them really well. On the video it looks like a true ivory, I was so excited about getting this rug. I have been wanting one for a while now. It would have been so beautiful if it was a true ivory. I have another Royal palace rug that I have owned for over 9 years in my formal dinning area it is still gorgeous!

I ordered this rug in 5/7, the runner, and another smaller size.....grey ..I have never written a bad review...this is by far the worst purchase I have ever made....just like previous reviews the grey color has small pieces of white which pull out with no resistance ...the rug looks like flour or powder was dusted on it and no amount of vacuuming helps...to late to return.....I need to remember Gramas' saying "you get what you pay for"...these rugs are not even in a high traffic area....not worth the $ or aggravation ......to the the curb....never again....

I love this carpet...mine does not shed or pill like the other reviews?? But I really love this rug. Royal Palace has never let me down!

I have had four prior purchases from QVC of Royal Palace Rugs which have all been extremely satisfactory insofar as quality. I ordered this 3 x 5 size and a larger size Royal Palace Elegant Medallion Rug in the Maroon color which are just beautiful. However, these rugs had problems right from the time of putting them on the floor because of the flaws in the patterns, i.e. white threads in several red places But the must significant problem is the shedding problem I deal with on a daily basis. The rug sheds the red colors onto the beige colors and visa versa. I have had this carpet several months and nothing has improved. I find the red wool all over my house. My, what a headache this purchase has been. The rugs are very pretty, but HIGH MAINTENENCE.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Docent Gray rug is constantly shedding and fuzzing
I bought the 3x5 rugs in red and in gray. The red rug is fine as it vacuums and sheds moderately, but looks clean after vacuuming. The gray rug constantly looks as if it has flour all over it. Cleans some of that look after each vacuuming, but it immediately returns. That must be what others are calling inadequate dye in the rug. I would love to return it, but must get rid of it some other way, as it always appears dirty. I have many Royal Palace rugs throughout my hallways and entry ways, and they have never caused me this problem before, and I like my other RP rugs very much.

I really liked my round one and my 3 by 5. But my other 3 by 5 seems was pulling out. I really don't wont to go throw sending it back so I guess I am out of 100 bucks.

I guess that the saying .... "You get what you pay for" is totally true in this instance. My first QVC product buy - I hope future buys are better. The ivory colour is patchy to say the least with one end being dark beige that develops into clumps of yellow, cream and ivory - maybe they were trying for an antiqued effect but this just looks like they ran out of the same color and so used something different. I've only had it down a few hours and there are pieces of wool already coming out of the pattern (and they are not the usual fluff you get with a new wool rug, but rather just poorly attached). I wanted something to warm up the hallway floor and I guess at $100 it will do the trick but if this is an example of Royal Palace, I will never buy their products again.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Pedge Very disappointed in 3'5' size
I already have three Royal Palace (RP) rugs I absolutely love. However, this 3'X5' "ivory" is unacceptable. The so-called "ivory" color is too much on the yellow side and should NOT be called "ivory" - more like cream! The picture on QVC.com of this rug shows a much better sample of what ivory should look like. I also ordered the 4'6" round in sky blue which is absolutely lovely and a keeper. The sky blue round is staying; the 3'5' "ivory" is going back immediately. This is the first time I've been so disappointed in a Royal Palace rug and the first time I'm returning one. The quality seems to be okay although I think my 5'X7' in light blue and my 8'X10" oval in a "real" IVORY are more plush. The third RP rug I already own is also ivory so I have two rugs to compare to this one for color comparision and this one does not size up, or come close, to the two I already have. So, I'm still in the market for a REAL ivory rug.
