Rowenta DW8080 Pro Master Iron
auto off came on atfer 2-3 years . We only used it about 30-40 hours we have to send to a repair place . I think in should have lasted a lot longer
poor steam production at lower temperatures. the iron drags on synthetic fabric at the lower temperatures which is mostly why I bought it . is expensive. Iam returning it. Plan to buy something somewhere else.
I wanted another Rowenta after my husband dropped our old one and broke it. Ordered this one but it leaked and spit water with the first use and didn't get any better. Had to return it.
Purchased this item two weeks ago and have been using.... I was not that impressed with it... Have had other Rowentas that were just as good and not as expensive... wanted to return, but have thrown away my receipt... just figured I would not be returning. I would be returning had I kept that receipt...
Love My Iron
This is my 3rd Rowenta and I absolutely love it. The iron glides across the fabric and the bursts of steam are wonderful and makes ironing so easy and fast. I also love the fact that I can use tap water. I wish everyone had an iron like mine!!! I would highly recommend this product to a friend. It would make their life more pleasant.
Great Iron, But . . .
This is the third Rowenta iron I have owned over the years and I do like the functionality of the iron, however, I find it difficult to easily see where the water is in the reservoir. It is a constant frustration as I have overfilled on several occasions.
Amazing Iron - the best ever!
This is my first Rowenta and I will never buy any other brand. I have been so impressed at how easy ironing is with this iron. It makes all my clothes look like they are new off the rack again. Couldn't believe what I have been missing for all of these years. Thank you Rowenta.
Extremely good iron
I finally wore my first Rowenta iron out after many years and ordered this one. I would never buy any other iron now. They are wonderful.
Nice iron/very hot
This is a wonderful iron. Light weight, so you don't get tired as you iron. The only thing that needs to be addressed is that it is so hot, you can really burn yourself. The steam is really hot, so if you have close ironing work, such as hand pieced quilt blocks, you need to be really careful that you don't burn yourself. Don't put your fingers close to iron as you press. With that being said, I do like it that it is hot. Just be very careful. It really does the job.
The Best, this is my second Rowenta
This is my second Rowenta and I thought the first one was the best iron I ever had but this one is even better. Ironing is effortless and puts a beautiful crease in pants, etc. Ironing is not a chore with this iron...it is a pleasure and my clothes look like they were done by a professional.
Pleased In Texas
I received my Rowenta iron today and I could hardly wait to get it out of the box.
I tried it out a little while ago, and it is everything I had hoped it would be. I will never use another brand ever again.
I shop at QVC a lot, I love just about all that I purchase which is quite a bit. I iron for my spouse his clothes as I just don't like wrinkles and his jeans ALWAYS come from the dryer a rolled up mess taking at least 45 minutes to iron to satisfactory condition. Not anymore! This amazing iron skates over the wrinkles as if they weren't there, a quick burst of steam and a turn around the buttons with the pointed nose and they are creased to perfection! I also quilt which makes this a quilters dream. I don't have to pull on the material worrying about stretching the fabric any longer, now I just wonder, after complaining about my iron, watching the hosts talk about Rowenta and reading about this amazing iron, WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG?
