Great Iron
I have had this iron for over 2 years and it has held up well. Works just as great as the day I got it. Heats up quickly, Irons well, and gets the wrinkles out in no time. The only downside is that it is a bit heavy, but overall very happy with my purchase!

Should last longer than 2 yrs, shouldn't it?
I am a bit of an ironing fanatic, and I love Rowenta irons!! But, shouldn't it last longer than 2 yrs? It just stopped working, and of course the warranty is up. It's an expensive thing to have to replace every 2 years, and I looked, and currently there aren't even any Rowentas available on easy pay...

bad chemical smell
I bought this iron 9 months ago. It has always leaked water but I have ignored it. What I can not ignor is the bad smell that it has started to have when it is heating. It smells like burning plastic. Nine months for a $100. iron is a bad joke.

Super Nice Iron
I am the type person that doesn't leave the house without ironing my clothes. I have purchased several irons over the years and all of them did the same thing; leaked on my clothes!!!!!!! I was a little concerned about this with this iron after reading some reviews stating that it leaked brown water. I have had the iron for about 2 months now and up to this point it has not leaked AT ALL on my clothes. I read the manual and it says to make sure and not leave water in the iron, so each time I finish ironing I remove all the remaining water and then press the steam button for several seconds to make sure any excess water comes out. I am hoping by doing this that maybe I wont have the brown water problem. This iron makes your clothes look like they have been to the cleaners. It has more steam holes than any iron I have ever owned. So far my purchase has been well worth the money. If anything changes I will for sure come back and re-write my review. The only reason I am giving this iron 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that you have to constantly hold down the steam button. It would be nice to have a feature where you could activate the steam without having to hold it down.

Thought Rowenta was the best
My first rowenta stopped working for me when only a year old. I didn't send it back
thought it was to long. Now I know I could of because it was defective. I just took the loss. Ordered another one in December on easy pay and this one has stopped working after only two months. When you pay over $100.00 for an iron you expect it
to work longer than 2 months. It's going back. No more Rowenta's for me.

LEAKS ALL THE TIME
Of course...it starts to leak as soon as the 1 year warranty runs out. Do Not Buy!!!
When it worked it was the best iron with steam ever. But exactly 1 year and 4 months later it started to leak every time I filled the water tank with tap water as recommented by manufacturer.
I do not believe that one should have to buy a new iron every 1 1/2 years. What ever happened to irons that last at least 3 years plus?
Do Not Buy unless you have throw away money every year for a new iron.

Great iron
I bought this iron in June 2010 & have been using it & loving it until today. It wouldn't heat & after doing lots of trouble shooting found that the wire coming out of the iron has a short in it. Of course, the one year warranty is past. Guess I'll have to wait til this iron is put on sale again... I bought it as a TSV and am not willing to pay $108 + shipping for a replacement.

Just OK
I was not impressed with the results that I received from this iron. I found the cord to be too short. I have a Shark iron and it steamed and ironed as well as the Rowenta, but has a 12 ft. cord and was half the price. This iron is not worth the price and will be returned. I guess that I thought an iron that cost over $100 would be better. I cannot recommend this to anyone.

Leaks too much

An ok purchase
I've only used my Rowenta a few times. It works well, but I'm not convinced it is better than my cheapie Black and Decker. I do like the point on the front - that is helpful. If you are pinching pennies and are thinking about this iron, not sure I'd recommend it. Also, I don't like the Auto Shutoff. I quilt and when I am working on one, I keep the iron up and running so I can iron seams as I need too. Sometimes the iron cuts off while I am sewing and I have to wait for it to heat up again (which isn't a long time) but it would be nice if I could turn the auto off feature on & off.

Awesome
This iron is just fabulous, has a powerful steam for those tough to iron items.
It is pretty hearvy which is okay for me but others would want to keep that in mind.
I am very happy that I made this purchase.

Love this iron
This is my second Rowenta iron the last one lasted me over 20 years. I dropped it and broke the plastic on the body of iron that is why I replaced it. Lots of steam, love this iron.
