More steam for professional results. This high-performance, easy-to-use Steamium 1800-watt iron combines steam, power, and control to deliver superior ironing results on all types of fabrics.

Steam Force technology. The brand-new pump-injection design forces 30% more steam into the fabric than traditional irons--which means better ironing results with less back-and-forth effort.

Take control. Auto-steam settings automatically deliver just the right temperature and amount of steam. With six settings, you can adjust to the fabric you're facing--from nylon and silk all the way up to your most wrinkle-prone cottons.

Plus, fingertip controls let you apply steam when, where, and for as long as you want every single time. And you can just as quickly stop the steam--leaving a dry iron to finish off any creases. Push the top button for a short blast of steam, which is concentrated at the high-precision tip to remove hard-to-reach wrinkles and put an extra burst into seams and waistbands.

The ups and downs of ironing. Need to remove wrinkles from drapes or hanging garments? Vertical steam lets you use this iron in an upright position.

The hole story. The face features a 400-hole stainless steel sole plate. There are even holes in the tip to get steam into seams, pleats, collars, and other tough spots.

Enhanced safety. Three-way shutoff automatically turns this iron off in eight minutes if it remains in a vertical position or in 30 seconds if it stays horizontal or is tipped over.

Take some of the work out of your housework--at an amazing price. With this kind of professional performance, just think of how much you'll save in dry-cleaning bills alone!

Great Iron I have had this iron for over 2 years and it has held up well. Works just as great as the day I got it. Heats up quickly, Irons well, and gets the wrinkles out in no time. The only downside is that it is a bit heavy, but overall very happy with my purchase! 01-26-13
Should last longer than 2 yrs, shouldn't it? I am a bit of an ironing fanatic, and I love Rowenta irons!! But, shouldn't it last longer than 2 yrs? It just stopped working, and of course the warranty is up. It's an expensive thing to have to replace every 2 years, and I looked, and currently there aren't even any Rowentas available on easy pay... 06-05-12
bad chemical smell I bought this iron 9 months ago. It has always leaked water but I have ignored it. What I can not ignor is the bad smell that it has started to have when it is heating. It smells like burning plastic. Nine months for a $100. iron is a bad joke. 04-14-12
Super Nice Iron I am the type person that doesn't leave the house without ironing my clothes. I have purchased several irons over the years and all of them did the same thing; leaked on my clothes!!!!!!! I was a little concerned about this with this iron after reading some reviews stating that it leaked brown water. I have had the iron for about 2 months now and up to this point it has not leaked AT ALL on my clothes. I read the manual and it says to make sure and not leave water in the iron, so each time I finish ironing I remove all the remaining water and then press the steam button for several seconds to make sure any excess water comes out. I am hoping by doing this that maybe I wont have the brown water problem. This iron makes your clothes look like they have been to the cleaners. It has more steam holes than any iron I have ever owned. So far my purchase has been well worth the money. If anything changes I will for sure come back and re-write my review. The only reason I am giving this iron 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that you have to constantly hold down the steam button. It would be nice to have a feature where you could activate the steam without having to hold it down. 02-06-12
Thought Rowenta was the best My first rowenta stopped working for me when only a year old. I didn't send it back thought it was to long. Now I know I could of because it was defective. I just took the loss. Ordered another one in December on easy pay and this one has stopped working after only two months. When you pay over $100.00 for an iron you expect it to work longer than 2 months. It's going back. No more Rowenta's for me. 01-30-12
LEAKS ALL THE TIME Of course...it starts to leak as soon as the 1 year warranty runs out. Do Not Buy!!! When it worked it was the best iron with steam ever. But exactly 1 year and 4 months later it started to leak every time I filled the water tank with tap water as recommented by manufacturer. I do not believe that one should have to buy a new iron every 1 1/2 years. What ever happened to irons that last at least 3 years plus? Do Not Buy unless you have throw away money every year for a new iron. 01-29-12
Great iron I bought this iron in June 2010 & have been using it & loving it until today. It wouldn't heat & after doing lots of trouble shooting found that the wire coming out of the iron has a short in it. Of course, the one year warranty is past. Guess I'll have to wait til this iron is put on sale again... I bought it as a TSV and am not willing to pay $108 + shipping for a replacement. 01-21-12
Just OK I was not impressed with the results that I received from this iron. I found the cord to be too short. I have a Shark iron and it steamed and ironed as well as the Rowenta, but has a 12 ft. cord and was half the price. This iron is not worth the price and will be returned. I guess that I thought an iron that cost over $100 would be better. I cannot recommend this to anyone. 01-16-12
Leaks too much Sorry, i sent this iron back, just leaked too much. I'll use my existing Rowenta, love it.. 01-09-12
An ok purchase I've only used my Rowenta a few times. It works well, but I'm not convinced it is better than my cheapie Black and Decker. I do like the point on the front - that is helpful. If you are pinching pennies and are thinking about this iron, not sure I'd recommend it. Also, I don't like the Auto Shutoff. I quilt and when I am working on one, I keep the iron up and running so I can iron seams as I need too. Sometimes the iron cuts off while I am sewing and I have to wait for it to heat up again (which isn't a long time) but it would be nice if I could turn the auto off feature on & off. 12-29-11
Awesome This iron is just fabulous, has a powerful steam for those tough to iron items. It is pretty hearvy which is okay for me but others would want to keep that in mind. I am very happy that I made this purchase. 12-29-11
Love this iron This is my second Rowenta iron the last one lasted me over 20 years. I dropped it and broke the plastic on the body of iron that is why I replaced it. Lots of steam, love this iron. 12-15-11
