Great Iron...doesn't vertical steam though This is a really good iron, however it doesn't vertical steam as is stated and demonstrated in the video online. 04-21-14
Terrible - Leaked Everywhere This iron was the worst. It leaked all over the ironing board and clothes when it was attempting to generate steam. I should have realized it was on clearance for a (bad) reason! 04-19-14
Spews out water on whatever you are ironing Should have heeded many of the reviewer's comments. The iron does spit out water as you iron. I didn't notice that the weight of the iron is 3 lbs. It is heavier than any iron I have had in the past and is not a comfortable weight to use for ironing. Returning this iron. 04-10-14
Just Okay I have used Rowenta irons for the last 25 yrs and would use nothing else, when I saw the demo on QVC and the price for this iron, I though "what a find". Wrong. It does not "glide" over fabric and is not light weight, yes it gives great steam. It does not take wrinkles out with just one glide over the fabric....very misleading. It also looks like it had been used, it would not be the first product that I have received that may have been "tested". I will keep it as it is too much of a bother to return it, and I do like the steam, BUT I am very disappointed. 04-08-14
stains fabric I bought this iron specifically for my quilting pieces. I have had trouble with leaking but lately it has been dripping brown water spots on my pieces, usually while I'm ironing so it gets ironed into the fabric before I see it! Usually spend many hours on the work so now it's ruined. Tried to find directions on care and don't find any. I always empty the water chamber after using so I can't figure out where the rust comes from. Don't buy it if you use it on anything of value or importance. 03-31-14
Like the iron I have had 3 Rowena irons in the past 30 years. I still have the very first iron, it still works. I just purchased this iron for my sewing room. It works very well. Gets out wrinkles very fast. 02-13-14
best iron I don't have no issues with my iron. Some of these comments are not true, I believed they had buyer remorse. Not because you went to your local department stores. And saw cheaper irons, now the iron you bought from the network is no good. My advice for possible buyers, try it for yourself. 01-25-14
best iron ever!! Good irons are hard to find anymore, I had a Rowenta many years ago & liked it, lasted a good while; this one is awesome! Have never had an iron to steam like this, good buy! Even bought a second one for my aunt, she loves it as well. 09-08-13
Not the Best Iron I ever bought Purchased this iron as a back up for my other Rowenta - just started using it about 6mos ago - it irons well, however the automatic cord rewind only works if I push it in. One day after pushing it in, it would not unwind so I could not plug it in to use it the next time. I am quite disappointed - my first Rowenta lasted for several years, the 2nd one stopped heating up, but the cord rewind still works like a charm. This new one heats up well, but the cord rewind doesn't work. I am rather annoyed with the whole deal - my cheap old iron worked perfectly for over 30 years, nothing fancy - no cord rewind or anything special, but it worked! Don't know what to buy next. I thought Rowenta made a better product - very disappointed. 08-24-13
Not impressed! I waited to purchase a quality iron. Rowenta has a good reputation so decided to try this one. The steam doesn't work in the upright position as advertised and there's some leaking when the iron is full of water. My $25. iron was just as good. Should have returned but waiting too long to try it. 08-05-13
V32015-rowenta1700w Avostream Iron I have purchased this iron from qvc, and I must say it is every thing you want in an iron. Love this one!!! It makes it fun to iron!!! 08-04-13
Drips water went it steams I was looking to replace my old iron. Was very excited when I order this iron thinking it will cut my ironing in half. I made sure I followed the directions that came with this iron. First use water drips all over my clothes. Never quit dripping. So I had to return it. 08-02-13
