The replacement bag is also being returned due to the stitching coming loose on this one also. Never even used this one. This was the second one received and there will not be a third. There seems to be a manufacturing problem.

I ordered and received the luggage-colored Gretchen bag a weeks ago. What a beauty. It fits nicely under the arm and holds everything I ask it to.
However, my one concern is the size of the zippered opening. To me it is extraordinarily small and I cannot get used to it. I must confess that this is my first hobo-type bag and based on the opening dimensions of this one may never order another one again, no matter who manufactures it..
I would recommend this bag to friends but with reservations.

Received my bag this week. Wow what a beautiful gray and the leather...FABULOUS. They style is very chic and reminds me of many bags I saw in Europe this past summer. I am so glad to see many top designers on the Q. I would highly recommend this bag to any female.
I had it last evening at my book club meeting and the gals went crazy.

If there were six stars, that would be my rating for this bag. I got it in grey and it is beautiful. Both, color and modern style. It is very light and I already packed it with lots of my usual stuff plus a bulky lunch to work. The design is perfect because it stays properly on my shoulder and is very soft next to my body. I appreciate that the designer understands how women hold their shoulder bags and wrapped the strap at the bottom with this super soft leather to accommodate a hand. Intentional or not, the design and quality are superb.

I received this bag today, as well as the Emma Convertible in Navy. Both bags were very poorly made. The leather was nice - but the lining was cheap and rough. I would have expected at this price point, the quality would be comparable to a B. Makowsky or Dooney. Not so! The straps on the front pockets were uneven in length. The sewing is atrocious, with places where more than one stich was applied (like going back over a stich) on the FRONT of the bag. The Emma Convertible Bag was just as poorly made -- the FLAP was UNEVEN!!! I could not believe it! Talk about defective. Poor quality control. Both are going back tomorrow, and I hope I can cancel the Roccatella I have on waitlist that has started processing. Don't waste your money.
