Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT Lavender We bought this last year and planted it about a week later. I will say that my husband created a mounded row for them that had gravel and loose potting soil mixed with our garden soil to create easy drainage. Other than that, we did absolutely NOTHING. We didn't water them - even in the hot NC sun when it didn't rain for a week or two. They grew profusely the first year. We cut them back in November and tied a string around the stems of what we cut off and hung it in our enclosed porch to dry. I now have a HUGE bundle waiting for me to strip the leaves and buds off it; I make my own sachets and lavender oil. I have so much that I don't even know if I'll be able to use it all. I don't know WHAT I'll do when they are even bigger and produce more this year! I think the trick is to plant them according to the needs of lavender. It worked for us. I doubt they would have done as well if we had just stuck them in the ground in nothing but regular old dirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lavender plants Very healthy plants! I planted very late in the season, late July or early August. Plants look very healthy, continued to grow into the fall! I live in Northern Massachusetts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not in North Carolina I had beautiful lavender in the Adirondack Mountains so I really wanted this to work. I tried this variety on the NC coast in 2016 and got a replacement in 2017 and it still did not grow. I love lavender so I was very disappointed. I wish I could find a variety that would grow in this heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as described! I took a chance on this particular plant because they mentioned these thrive in heat, drought and the greenery stays year round. That was year before last. I cannot say enough great things about these plants. I planted mine 2 ft. apart and now I have a beautiful lavender hedge year round. Beautiful even after I clip the flowers for arrangements ... the green/grey leaves stays and just keeps getting bigger. They DO NOT look like the floppy plants normally seen after flowering. I do not do anything to them except small watered in food in spring and again late summer. I did not even water them during our extremely hot humid summer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from disappointed Got 6 plants but only half really grew well, and were all planted in same area with the same care. Don't understand what went wrong. Like purchasing plants better at local home store as they have 1 year guarantee if it doesn't grow.
