Rated 1 out of 5 by from No grow no mow Worst purchase I have ever made totally dead and dying on arrival so unhappy with this product. No care needed DOA. Had to give a star which should be a minus 100.Such a waste of time trying to bring back and money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good "filler" After listening to the presentation of these "grass plugs" my interpretation of their use was to fill in BARE SPOTS. That's how I used them. Our dogs love to dig, so after a long winter their fenced yard had many SPOTS that needed filling. I filled the holes with top soil and planted these plugs of blue grass. They have successfully filled in and blended with the yard nicely. Used in this way seems to be how they were intended to be used, although the presentation did speak of creating an area of grass. I can see that that would be challenging and take a while to become a blended yard.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no more purchased 2 sets which covered a much smaller space than I hoped. that would have been ok if any of it did as they said it would. All that work removing my old grass etc. but they're right, I don't have to mow there because there's nothing there except this springs weeds. i had really hopped to get more this year to extend area but that's not going to happen

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GOOD SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM AREA Our soil is clay and rocky yet it gets plenty of sun. We have tried so many products and methods to get grass to grow in our patio area over the years. We have dogs so that area really has a lot to handle. I purchased these last year and what a relief. Plugs are so much easier to plant in and "active" yard space. What grass has returned has come back strong. I purchased more plugs this year and so far so good. This is the easiest solution to our grass problem in our patio area. Give it a chance. I think it's easier to water and keep maintained than the traditional grass seed. Budget wise, I think that it's even less $ than we spent on grass seed, hay, etc. over the years. Our biggest problem was trying to get he seed to catch and grow enough to take hold and withstand all the activity in that area. These grass plugs give us a head start to that issue..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like The Look I bought several trays last spring. Like the previous review, I tilted the lawn, removed all old grasses, brought the auger, and went through the whole ritual process. It was labor intensive and lots of TLC for these grasses. More than half of my lawn was successful. I love the deep green look. The unsuccessful area had to do with the soil too much roots and clay like not the grasses. I planted that area twice and still all died. Will put the seeds instead. Another section of my lawn which I expected to go well, all died as well. I don't know if I want to give it another try since it's so costly. I spread the seeds and still thinking. They do look very nice once they spread and works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Robertas no mow Blue Grass I thought this would be the answer to our grass problems. It was not. It was rather tedious to plant all the plugs but I perservered and planted watered etc. Llike the other consumers that rated this product I agree do not waist your money. None of that grass that I planted last year has come back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did Not Work For Me I purchased two trays of this grass last year. Sadly, it didn’t grow and was a waste of time and money.
