Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Keeps On Growing If any plant had a reason to die it was this one, when I bought them 2 years ago spring they were the 'Black Logan' I received 2 sticks in two boxes, left them in those boxes for a good long month put them outside in a shady late afternoon sun spot watered & fertilized. They became filled w/leaves, gave one to my sister it died shortly after she took it. I put mine in the ground w/full sun, very few berries bc of the birds. We moved last year so I dug it up trying not to bust the main root, well I did. I stuck it in a big pot & let it recoup over the summer last year luckily we did not have a harsh winter bc I left it outside for that too. I trimmed it up in March & it is doing very well in the ugly pot the best it has ever really looked. It has lots of berry buds & every year the base gets fuller it will be going in the ground as soon as I get a raised garden bed. This plant does have very fine pickers but the berries are sweet & come off easy when ripe. I do give credit to Roberta's Hawiian Flower Magic & Root Blast for this plants survival.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ARRIVED DEAD I purchased these plants as I was so excited to grow my own raspberries and they arrived dead. Very disappointing. Not worth sending back so I lost my $$$

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thriving Plants I love raspberries, live in zone 10 (not guaranteed), and decided to order them anyway. I followed the instructions, found a place that gets full sun yet is somewhat protected under my 30 year old apricot tree ... still I wasn't expecting anything to happen to the bare roots received. To my surprise the twig part did not bud and instead bushy little plants came up adjacent to the twigs. Within a couple of weeks the plants grew to about 4" high and are doing very well. I'm hoping that the gophers don't like them so that they can continue to spread through the yard.
