Sorry, this was not a good purchase Ordered these lilies thinking what a wonderful idea, re-blooming daylilies...however, I only had blooms on three of the plants, and they were very small, less than five blooms total for the summer. No re-blooming at my house! All blooms were the same color. So much for the mixture of colors. I will not be making any more purchases from Roberta's as I had purchased rose bushes several years ago, which I also had a bad experience with. 10-28-14
Long blooms - planted in 'BLACK HEN' compost The flowers are gorgeous and if you get your dirt ready with Black Hen compost you'll probably have a fantastic show the first year. Planted half the bulbs in a bed w/ another compost, but planted the other 1/2 of the Roberta's Daylily bulbs in a bed we incorporated Black Hen compost into. This is the ticket - Black Hen. The bulbs in the BLACK HEN bed repeatedly bloomed over and over the 1st year planted whereas the other 1/2 of the same package did not bloom because of our mistake in NOT preparing the dirt in the other flower bed. Plants in Black Hen looked very robust and were taller. Use BLACK HEN. Your plants will love it. It's fragrant so if you can incorporate in the fall you'll be set for the spring. Or just hold your nose as you dig it into the flower bed. 10-22-14
Preview Your Review Purchased two sets of these lily's. Only a few bloomed and they were all a faded yellow color. I had high expectations as they looked so beautiful during the presentation. I live in a mild climate, so I thought they would do well. At this point, they are not worth the price and effort to plant. I am hopeful they will natrualize and grow better next season. 10-21-14
Epic Fail None of the daylilies bloomed. Had 8 begin to sprout but they never got above 1 inch. Maybe it is just too hot in Florida to be successful. Wont buy bulbs again :( 10-17-14
Disappointed Only 2 plants got one bloom, the others died. Hoping I can get replacement next spring. 10-09-14
Preview Your Review planted these flowers all i got was the tall leaves. not one flower came out. Im sure they will not even come back next year. 10-03-14
Not sure yet... These actually grew more than the other Roberta's seedlings I received this year. I didn't get any blooms and will watch for them next year. I realize the first year of planting a perennial will not produce the best results, but I didn't get any buds. Daylillies are typically very hardy so I was surprised these didn't do well. For the price, I had hoped for better results this year. 09-22-14
Preview Your Review Very disappointing, two "flowers" grew and never lasted a month. How can such a respectable company sell such a poor quality of plants. I love daylilies, but these not only refuse to grow, but there was no fragrance. I notice a lot of bad reviews, so it wasn't a few people disappointed, but everyone. Roberta's really goofed on this one. Sorry, I hate bad reviews, but I'll have to think whether to give Roberta's another try next year, this was a disaster. 09-18-14
Preview Your Review ordered ten of these none came up three , bad plants do not order 09-18-14
do not buy These never made it to bloom, they came looking good but died, got replacements and they died also, every time I get anything from Roberta's it dies, they look so good on t.v. but just don't make it here, and I am in Georgia and have beautiful gardens, but not from Roberta's and my name is Roberta!! 09-16-14
Preview Your Review I received my order when QVC said we would.. We planted them within a few days, and waited for them to grow......NOTHING ever happened, You would think after over 4 months, that we would have seen some growth. Very disappointed, 09-14-14
Reblooming - what year? "Re-blooming?" I'm still waiting for the first bloom of the summer which is now going into fall. Planted 30 of these losers and of the few that did come up they were weak in color and unimpressive. Certainly not like the picture shown or as presented on-air when I purchased them. All I can do is hope for a better showing next year. 09-13-14
