Only 1 in 10 plants is blooming Horribly disappointed. Only 1 of the 10 flowers is blooming! 07-30-14
Only 1 bloomed All grew but only one bloomed and only for a month, not 5 months of blooms as stated. End of July so now they are past their prime. Maybe not good for central texas, and yes I watered them. 07-30-14
Terrible I hate to echo other reviews here but I am sorely disappointed - only 2 blooms on 10 plants? I have gorgeous day lilies already, was looking to add to my collection and these plants are so wimpy it is hard to believe they will ever turn into anything. Roberta's and Cottage farms just can't compete with the local growers in terms of climate adaptability. I finally have a hydrangea from cottage farms that looks like something and it has been in the ground 7 years. Mail order plants are just not for me which is too bad because I like the possibility of expanding my varieties but too disappointing. 07-29-14
Not Totally Unhappy So when these arrived in April, I was unable to get them in the ground right away so I put them in the fridge as instructed. In late May (a couple weeks longer than recommended), I finally put them in the ground. I really wasn't hoping for much especially after reading everyone's reviews and knowing that I'd kept them too long in the fridge. On top of that, our soil has a lot of clay and rocks. We added manure to the newly established bed I put them in and just prayed they'd make it. Every plant (including one extra tuber that managed to get into one bag) survived and began growing! Too my amazement, I've seen three distinctly different blooms (Veins of Truth, Frosted Vintage Ruffles and Final Touch), so far. Can't wait to see Lavender Deal and Elegant Candy. Yes, they aren't huge blooms like they portrayed on the show but then neither are the plants yet. Somewhat disappointing is that the blooms do only last about a day. I haven't tried smelling them yet. However, I do anticipate that these will spread and grow larger each year. Therefore, I'm not totally unhappy with this purchase. 07-28-14
How can non-blooming plants rebloom???? Out of ten I have 4 that bloomed. They are not purple but a weak, yellowy color. Planted in late May. Only one flower on each of the four plants so far. The blooms don't last even a day. And the peonies from the same company are even worse. But I guess they don't say how often they rebloom. Even on my order the color shows purple. Very disappointing. 07-27-14
disapointed The show makes it look wonderful. Couldn't believe in a year what it would look like IF i had ideal conditions (i do) and i bought the fertilizer and spray too (i did) They are worse than normal plants at the nursery. It took a LONG time for them to grow. Some aren't even normal height or blooming yet. One bloomed and it is extremely small. However the fertilizer is good for my cheap plants i bought at the home stores which are huge and beautiful. I bought 2 different types of roberta's plants and sorely disappointed. You could buy same quality at the spring hill nursery or like that advertise in newspapers and send you a tiny tiny thing that takes 3 yrs to get to normal size. 07-26-14
Big disappointment None of these were what was advertised. Buyer beware. Small flower and not remotely what was shown. 07-25-14
Terrible I ordered 2 different items/3 products from Roberta's--nothing grew as promised. I've had 2 bloom on this 10 pc set of daylillies. (Not full follage either) Very disappointed and will not be ordering from them again. 07-24-14
The WORST! Not even CLOSE. Out of the 10 plants, only 3 have bloomed and they are small, weak flowers that shrivel almost immediately. Not even CLOSE to what was portrayed in the presentation. DON'T BUY THESE FLOWERS!!! 07-24-14
3 Plants out of 10 Grew I think these arrived a bit late (April) for the TX weather. However, I planted all of them and eventually had 3 plants that grew (all the same variety). They did get flowers on them, but the plants did not perform anywhere near what I expected. I wouldn't buy again, and I'm glad I only purchased one set. 07-24-14
Worst Flowers Ever Not even close as shown on tv. 6 out of 10 died in the first week. What is left all came out a dull peach color and got one bloom at a time and shriveled up in one day! My garden looks like a joke. 07-23-14
Poor customer service and product I bought 2 of these sets for an area that was re-done from scratch. Of 2 full sets I've gotten ZERO to grow. Not very happy. Called QVC customer service and she told me to call Roberta's 800#. I grow all types of flowers and they thrive in my garden....NOT THESE! 07-22-14
