Rita Hazan Set of 2 Temporary Gray Coverage Root Concealers, 2oz
Great For Someone Who Has A Lot Of Gray
I used this in between colors. I have so much gray and have to use this in between colors. Love it.
Covers Gray Well
I wish I did not need to cover my gray hair, but I do. This product does leave some residue so do not use much. Less is actually more. And it does go a long way if you just spray a bit on the roots.
I love this
This really work well. I use the red and it saves me an extra week . You have to use it like you would a spray can very light handed and it will be perfect and you won't wast any. A little goes a long way, QVC bring this back a a TSV again.
I ordered, but haven't recieved the product yet. I give it 4 stars because I have used other colored sprays before for touch-ups and they worked. However this time it would be for complete coverage. As a chemo patient I am getting short new growth, which is GREY, yikes!!!!. Not allowed to use chemicals yet, so hoping this will help me achieve my "natural" red hair. I am a hairstylist and recommend this type of product for my clients who have busy schedules and have a difficult getting in for touch-ups
Much Too Expensive - Why!!
If you get 10 touchups per can you're lucky! Product is good and it works, but 1oz. per can is atrocious. I had a similar product from Nick C. in a 4.4 oz. can for half the price which lasted forever, but unfortunately he doesn't make it any more - boo hoo! The drug store also has a similar product for 1/3rd of the price and no shipping. Go figure, It's liquid gold in price. We work too hard to be taken in like this.
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it shows as a very dark blonde instead of a more medium blonde. But it does cover the gray well and doesn't go away until shampooed.
colors are off
I had to send back the first one. I have med. to dark brown hair. The light brown was too dark. I had to order dark blonde to match my hair.
This is the best product of this kind I have found to date. You will want to go a shade lighter than your actual hair color. It is easy to apply, stays on until you wash it out. Is fantastic for a working lady who does not have time to cover up those little grays in between colors.
I use nothing else.
This is by far the best root concealer I have ever used. I use it between colorings and basically up front where I have a part in my hair. Won't come off until you wash your hair.
ABOUT TIME FOR SPRAY HAIR COLOR
I have been using hair spray color for a while....About time that QVC got one....It is great for touch ups and to fill in those BOLD SPOTS that shine through your scalp-- I use it every time I shampoo.....This is BETTER THAN THE POWDERS, which take too much time and effort and you have to be able to see the scalp (if you notice on TV the presenter is doing the application over the head--hard to do powders on your own and too much time needed)... Lisa Robertson would love this one!!! ..Also I use RED which is available in this touch up and perfect to use.....The only reason I have not given it 5 Stars--it is a bit expensive for such a little size....Maybe, QVC WILL NEED TO GET SOME COMPETITORS...This is the one Spray Color that the QVC AWARD should go to ..for ease and speed of application...FORGET THOSE DIFFICULT AND DIRTYING POWDERS....
Great to extend the life of your haircolor
I bought the cheaper version of this product they sell in drug stores, it was a mess. I threw it away after a few tries. When I saw this, I ordered it and it works very well. I have black hair and so when the white grows in, it is very noticeable. My hair was thinning and I use the Hair Max which has made a huge difference in my hair, so between that and this product, my hair is doing great. Mainly I wanted this for the back area where I still have an area where the hair is thinner, I sprayed it there after I fixed my hair and it was perfect. It did not rub off on my pillow either. Loved this and a little goes a long way, do not overspray.
Too Expensive no different than Cheaper Versions
This item is no different than any other BSS or CVS spray in color, It is just 10 times the price, the key is...you have to 1)..spray carefully and not wild or clothes will get spray on it,, If you are wearing WHITE or any light color make sure you put on some kind of robe before you spray the item. 2) spray after you have dressed and done makeup, 3) the MAIN KEY, after you spray it, it will look dull get some kind of oil sheen and lightly spray then...get your blow dryer on low and HOLD THE BLOWDRYER LIKE 4 INCHES FROM YOUR HAIR....to just dry the area..this will ensure that it does not run later down your face. THIS STEP must not be missed. 3a) DO NOT COMB, brush or touch your hair after your spray it.
4) Also is you have to put any type of gel in your hair do that FIRST, then the spray in color then the blowdryer. That is the last step. 5) Also understand, if you scratch your hair the color will be on your nails, if you lay down it will be on your pillow, if you take off your shirt and don't cover your hair it will get on your clothes. etc.
I use a cheaper version of this product and will continue to use it because I don't want the chemicals of dying my hair too often. I also sleep with a satin cap on to preserve my pillows cases.
I gave this product a low rating because of the PRICE, not the item. You just to understand how to use the item for SUCCESS.
