Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Was impressed initially, until I realized you had to subscribe to service to see recorded videos after three month free introductory subscription..Also, of you have a screened in front porch as we do, it will not detect any motion until someone opens the screen door. If it disconnects from your wifi you have set up the whole thing again which is annoying. Live view rakes a while to connect even though signal strenght is always very good. Maybe right for someone else, just not for us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tad Disappointed I'm getting ready to install it. The host didn't mention you had to wire it to your house or you have to take a down to recharge it. This is more that a hassel but willing to give it a try.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ring Video Subscription I purchased the Ring Doorbell 2 HD Monitoring w/ Chime. Nowhere does it say that after about 3 months, does it require you to subscribe to a video storage plan for $3/month. Today I discovered that I can no longer view ANY videos of who is at my door without this subscription after this morning I noticed that I received a Ring Alert that someone was at my door at 11:00 p.m. last night. I was unable to access the video without this $3/month subscription. What good is that? QVC should tell customers that the $3 subscription is necessary. I am beyond the QVC 30-day return policy or I would have returned this item.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Misrepresented Item I purchased the Ring Video Doorbell 2 w/ Chime Pro, Ring Assist on November 25, received and installed into my existing doorbell. It has worked beautifully so far. Now I am receiving a message on my phone that says my video service will stop a "30 day trial" in 3 days, and that I now must upgrade. What is this? This was not advertised as a subscription service when I bought my unit, only a flat purchase price and you touted this as 'get rid of your annual security service fees'. What is going on QVC? Please respond.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doorbell This doorbell really is just barely okay. There are systems out there that are cheaper than this one that work way better. This doorbell really has some bugs that need to be fixed. It just does not work as well as they say it does. We have had issues with both the video portion of this doorbell and the audio portion of this doorbell. The audio is hard to understand and sounds very blurred when both talking in it or listening to who is on the other side of it talking back to you. And the video is not all that very clear.

I was even able to send her a video showing the delivery man. She sent her son over and I sent her a video to watch him picking it up. Best purchase I ever made.
