Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy I am disappointed that now I have to purchase a subscription to watch my video ,I watch all day that it was on and no mention on buying that .I can't return it because it's past 30 days.I have an elderly mother at home so when I'm at work I can see who comes to the door,I am very disappointed in QVC

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ammended Review I initially gave it a great rating but I changed my mind after having constant problems with it. The Ring worked for 2 weeks then quit. Customer service at Ring tried to help get I working again. They wound up sending a repplacement. That worked for two weeks and had trouble AGAIN. Ring customer service tried and tried to get it working. They wound up sending their Chime Pro Wi-Fi extender. Got it set up and it all worked fine til August 31 and you guessed it! Ring sent out another extender and the Ring still isn't working. Friday night I was on the phone with them for 2 1/2 hours. They were SUPPOSED to call me back Saturday, September 9 and have an experienced tech help. Today is Sunday, September 10 and still NO call!. I want my money back OR someone figure out what the problem is. Two neighbors have a Ring and no problems.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ring Doorbell on going service I purchased the RING doorbell like many other viewers to have additional security at my door. I am also a Realtor and trying to keep up with smart products that are out there since so many buyers and sellers are looking into them. I am pleased with the product, I installed it myself to a hard wired doorbell already there. What I am disappointed in, and which now seeing the reviews is that after 30 days, you have to purchase the service for 30.00 per year for the additional video coverage. Had I known that I probably would not have purchased it, since it is pretty expensive for a regular door bell. QVC never mentioned this in the several presentations I saw, as well as the inventor of the product never mentioned it. The upsetting part of this is that you have the video storage for 30 days and after 30 days you don't. By that time, you cannot return to QVC as they only allow for a 30 day return. I called the Ring customer service and explained I was extremely disappointed and although the customer service person was sympathic to my situation, there was nothing that could be done. So as of right now, if the doorbell rings, and I can open the app quickly enough, I get to see who is at the door. If not, I am not allowed to have the interactive with the person. I have been shopping with QVC, since it was CVN, and have been reasonably happy with the products and explanation of the products on air, but I am extremely disappointed with this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Happy Camper I purchased Ring, and generally am happy, but I wanted other Buyers to be aware of an issue I ran into. I was using an older version smart phone which I discovered AFTER I purchased was not able to support the app. I was planning on updating, but I didn't know this before I purchased. Also, even tho they did say that the motion detector picked up large vehicles, I want to let others know it is ULTRA sensitive. I live on a corner lot and BOY I get a lot of false rings because of this. It has not altered my desire to own this product, but buyers should be aware. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I do not understand the negative reviews. I purchased this product to use inside my garage(which does not have a door because it is an 1960s home). I am amazed at how well the camera picks up inside the dark garage. Crystal clear when someone is at my door. The app alert is also quick to send me a notice. I live in a rural area with not the best interest service offered. I have had no problems since I installed the camera two months ago. I will need to charge it soon, but heck only having to charge every two months is not a bad deal. The main reason I purchased this system is to use in the winter months when it gets dark at 5:30 pm. I can use the live view feature to see inside my dark garage before I go outside to leave the house after it gets dark. This product is worth the $150. My only complaint is QVC did not make it clear that you must purchase a package for $30 to have the recording option of RING. What good is this product if it is not recording? I am not pleased with QVC for not making that clear during their demo. I watched probably 4 RING shows that day before making a purchase, and I never heard anyone say there would be a yearly $30 fee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product if you Live Alone I had been wanting to get one of these for a long time. When I saw the QVC deal I bought it a few months ago. Even though its the older model I love it. I installed it myself (pat on back). Because my doorway is set back I don't get a wide range view of my front yard but I can keep an eye on my front decorations and the best part is I don't have to answer the door late in the evening, something a woman alone is sometimes afraid to do. I guess I connected it to the wires properly as the charge hasn't been affected. It was easy to install and I am here looking to get one for a friend for a Christmas gift.
