Luxe Rachel Zoe Faux Suede Long Sleeve Wrap
Different but in a Good Way
I have been looking at the wrap for a long time and reading the reviews and talking myself out of purchasing it. When it went on sale, I took a chance. I like it, but I did have to alter the length. I am 5'2" so it was too long for me. If you are petite you may not like this. I ordered the small and it fits true to size. Actually, it may run a tad small. I am glad I did not get the XSmall. It is not overwhelming at all. Pretty cool look. Oh, I did have a button fall off also. Thus, the 4 star and not 5.
I got this as a lunchtime special and what a great bargain! Very stylish and easy to wear. Very different from any other coats (wraps) I own. So glad I saw it as a lunchtime special, which are definitely worth checking out each day!
Wanted to be satisfied~
After looking at this in my wish list,I decided to order it. It came last week., But the sizing is not accurate for one. Also poorly made. I put it on still wanting to be excited about it.
I found one of the inside buttons ready to fall off. Something this price, should be better quality checked.
It is very boxy on. I ordered a medium, which I do wear according to the size charts. It had no shape or form. It looked as if I put my arms inside of a square box. Although I had no problems creating the differant closures to give a differant look.
Fabric was lovely, very nice soft suede.
But poorly made. It went back the day after I recieved it.
If you have a flair for fashion - then this stylish wrap is for you. It is reversible & you can create different looks based on where & how you position the collar. You can wear it tailored close to your neck or loosely draped. I fold over the fabric at the wrist to make a cuff to match the color of the collar. It is fabulous with jeans or trousers.
My husband surprised me with this... and
I loved it! True to size, great quality, and value.
It's my first Rachel Zoe and I would trust and buy
her brand again.
Take some getting used too
I like the jacket, it's very soft, and has lots of sway to it. I wonder will it get ruined in the rain. I like it's uniqueness, You can't find this in the stores, I got the tan, because the gray one sold out. I think I'm going to be real chic wearing it. I'd really like to know if water will ruin it. Its really cute. You need to have some fashion since to layer it with different things. It's not a look that will work for everyone.
This is one of the "edgiest" pieces that I've added to my wardrobe this season and it is hot hot hot! If you are the least bit intrigued by the multiple looks you can get with this and your gut says you "may just be able to carry this off" then you will and should get it.
I bought the Tan and I played with it for a solid 1/2 hour and came up with four knockout variations of wearing it and a fifth by just letting it hang open and draping down your body. It was so simple to mimic the looks shown in the video. I bought a Med because all the reviews said it was huge but after perfecting all the looks I wanted that little bit of extra room so I exchanged for a Large and really there was just a small amount of difference in size but it made it work even better for me (I'm large busted). As far as a previous review regarding the sleeves needing to be rolled up....they should be rolled up as this is a reversible garment and that adds another dimension to the look. I prefer wearing a sleek body hugging turtleneck underneath with the multi-coloring side on the outside most of the time but if you do reverse it and have the solid beige on the outside it drapes like the finest suede (because there is absolutely no bulk to this garment). I just love it to death and you will look so chic and fashionable in this garment. So crazy about it that I went back for the other color and although they are the same garment you change your look 100% from one color to the next as one gives you the "warm" color tones and with the other you get your "cool" tones. I so recommend this....get it home and put on a monochromatic top and bottom and give yourself a 1/2 hour playing with the buttons to create a multitude of looks. If this is secretly calling your name but you've never branched out to try a garment like this...DO IT!
When I first saw this over a year ago I thought it was the coolest thing ever! I loved wearing it even though it was a difficult wrap to maneuver. Over time for some reason it just didn't look good on me anymore, and I had trouble with the collar. I gave it away.
I guess I was dreaming of looking like ths beautiful model....ah not so much. Sleeves were a mess...yea you can fold up....but for me it was aweful. As mentioned on another jacket....no more long sleeves from QVC
ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITES!
This jacket is an all-time favorite of mine. I get compliments every time I wear it. . . The fabric is like the finest suede imaginable. The design is so unique, and the reversibility factor is a real plus. I usually wear it open, and the flowing softness makes me feel very feminine when I wear it. I think it's a real winner. Thank you, Rachel Zoe. Your design is just gorgeous!
I REALLY WANTED TO LIKE THIS ITEM, BUT.......
I WAS VERY EXCITED TO PURCHASE THIS ITEM, ESPECIALLY AT THE CLEARANCE PRICE. HOWEVER, WHEN I TRIED IT ON I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. I LOVED THE WAY THAT THIS WRAP FIT, WHICH MAKES IT EVEN MORE DISSAPOINTING TO RETURN THE WRAP. UNFORTUNATELY, THE WRAP HAS A CHEAP LOOK DUE TO HOW IT IS FINISHED AND THE FACT THAT THE POCKETS DID NOT LIE FLAT. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT MORE REVIEWERS DIDN'T FIND THIS TO BE AN ISSUE. IT IS TOO BAD BECAUSE IF THERE WERE NO POCKETS, OR IF THE POCKETS WERE MADE DIFFERENTLY, THIS WOULD HAVE PROBABLY BEEN A KEEPER FOR ME, BUT THE OPEN POCKETS MADE IT LOOK LIKE A SACK. SADLY, I AM RETURNING THIS ITEM.
Love this jacket so much I purchased it in both colors. I am 5' 2, over 150 lbs. Somehow these jackets slenderize and makes me look a little taller. I wear them instead of a blazer or boyfriend jacket, with or without a belt, open or closed.I receive complements from men and women. I think the construction, cut, color, and draping work together. The fabric is pliable and WASHABLE. The clinging can be handled with a dryer sheet.
If you have some flair, you can pull it off and look fabulous as well.
I paid full price and it was worth every penny.
Thank you Rachel Zoe and QVC for providing affordable designer fashions.
