Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Dishwasher Safe 10-piece Cookware Set
I received this set as a Christmas gift from my mother and I could not be more pleased. The quality is really nice, come out of the dishwasher just fine. I love the style and ease of use. Very pleased with the set!
Thought is was a good buy
Despite using all the proper precautions to avoid food sticking, washing and drying carefully by hand, etc., it has particles of the nonstick coming off and the food has a smell of chemical. I send them back was told that because I did not properly use them the warrenty is voided. I very dissappointed I paid good money expecting to a have good cookware for a long time. Now I have to purchase another cookware to replace the Rachel Ray cookware.
Stock pot damaged.
My stock pot is not level. Where the label is on the bottom is raised so the pot just spins on the stove top. I like the set. I had the original technique set and gave it to my Granddaughter to have in her appt. at college. I wish I had bought her the new set and kept the old one. New is not always better. I did call Rachael Ray about the defective pan. I have to mail it to Calif. I believe to determine if it is really damaged and then they would replace it with something similar if indeed it is damaged. Easier to just return it all.
Heat Up The Kitchen
Heat Up Your Kitchen with this BEAUTIFUL set from Rachel Ray. I love the hard anodized set. Easy clean up and heats quickly and evenly. I bought the hot color green and it looks so urban and updated! I also added the 5qt. hard anodized oval pot. I can't wait for the 8qt. pasta pot to become available in green also. Her products are well worth the price. Makes cooking a pleasure.
Love This Cookware
I am really enjoying using this cookware set. The pots are attractive with their vibrant orange handles and the pots are sturdy but lightweight. They also seem to absorb heat quickly and evenly. I know I will enjoy using these pots for many years.
The man of the house thought we should get these after watching Rachel the evening of the TSV. We were in the process of having our kitchen renovated and he thought new pans were necessary. It was the pasta pan that hooked him because he loves Italian food. So I ordered the orange along with the 8 piece utensil set and got my first chance to use them the other night. Great to cook with and soooo easy to clean. Both the pans and covers are of substantial weight - not heavy and not too light - and I love the glass covers.
Love These Pans
We have had this set of pots and pans for years and they still look brand new (and yes we use them All the time). If the day comes (and I'm not sure it will) that these wear out I would buy the same set- best pots and pans I ever owned. My daughter wanted pots and pans last year for Christmas so I got her this set and she Loves Them. Needless to say my other daughter wanted them this year for Christmas after hearing my daughter and I talk about how much we love them. I was disappointed to read the negative reviews, I can't think of one moment when I thought anything negative. Not even the day I got distracted and the food on the stove burnt in the pan. Ugh I just dreaded telling my husband...but the mess wiped right out and the pan looked brand new-keep my secret lol. I recommened Buy!
Love everything Rachael Ray
I have this set in Orange. I am so in love with it. It's dishwasher safe!!!! I haven't put it in the dishwasher because it's so easy to clean why bother. We bought this set with the red, for our son, he loves it as well. When he moved out he had a lot of mish mash pots & pans. This was his first set & he loves it. He's a amateur cook(like me) and he's always trying something new & this set is great because of the easy clean up etc. I highly recommend this set!
LOVE HER COOKWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bought this for a birthday gift for my daughtert. As always cooks greats and looks great.Very durable We both have several other pieces of her open stock collection. The pasta pot and the oval saute pot. They all cook great and hold up very well. Worth every penny, you'll get your monies worth.
RACHAEL PLEASE MAKE AN OPEN STOCK 3 QT OVAL SAUTE; LIKE THE 5 QT.
I was so excited to receive this set but I was greatly disappointed after using them. The quality is poor. The outsides and insides of the pans mark very easily and we only used wooden and silicone utencils with them. I heated milk on low temp and the milk burned on the bottom, this never happens with my other pans. The pans looked beautiful but when you handle and use them it is very apparent that the quality is lacking. At this price I want them to make cooking enjoyable and not just look good on the stove. Even my hubby was very disappointed when he cooked with them. So, they are being returned.
Finally I have a New set of wonderful pans.
I have been using the same old pots and pans and I finally bought myself a xmas present. Thank you Rachel Ray!!!!!
My son bought me my first one, the pasta pan. Love it. It was my favorite pan. My son called me up and said Mom, They have the set of pots and pans like the pasta cooker I bought you on sale. I always buy everybody lots of gifts for xmas, so this year I decided I needed a xmas present. They are so great, dishwasher safe. Food never sticks. The sizes of the pans are great. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Take a stand!
I am so sad to say I returned these pots the very next day and while it pains me to say anything negative about a Rachael Ray product, I must be honest. During the television presentation, Rachael said a number of times that this set was for buyers who had purchased her "baby", the original oval pan. I bought that original pan about 5 years ago and it was beyond fabulous and is still a staple in my kitchen. It was the same quality you would expect from Anolon, Calphalon or All-Clad. It had a great weight, and thickness with a see-through lid. In contrast, this set was very poorly made. There were inconsistencies and raised bubbles around the rims of each pan that looked as if peeling or separating would occur at some point. Also, the interior or the pan seemed to be a lighter color than the exterior and the point at which you see this clearly is around the rim where the two colors meet. The lids are seamed which is never a sign of high quality as continued washing could cause rust to form along the seam. The pans are very light weight and one appeared to have been used as there were "swirls" on the surface as if a spoon had been stirring in the pot. Further, the red was not the rich red of say a Kitchenaid product, but instead looked garish and cartoonish -- more like a crayon box red that didn't quite make the Crayola cut. I have been cooking for 50 years. For what it's worth in my humble opinion, I do not think this set has the durability to last a long time. This is not the same quality as the original 5-quart Rachael Ray Anolon Advanced Oval Saute pan. When Rachael said this set was for those who had bought the original saute pan, I jumped at the bargain even though I was not a fan of the colored handles because I thought I was was getting the same high quality and standard Rachael insisted on back then. Not so. This is a cheaply made poor imitation with none of the original attention to detail or quality. If you want to do a search for the original pan to prove my point, the UPC is 0511153819650. These were not in my house 24 hours before they went straight back to the post office. Sorry, but while I generally love everything I purchase from QVC, this should never have passed muster. I am sticking with my Kitchenaid set. I can't believe I was ready to give them up for something so sub-par.
