Rachael Ray 12" Porcelain Enameled Cast Iron Skillet is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful skillet! I already have Rach’s original orange cast iron skillet and have been using it for years. I ordered the turquoise skillet and it came very well packaged and is really beautiful. I’ve decided to hang it up in my kitchen and maybe use it occasionally. Rach’s cast iron Dutch ovens and skillets are some of her best items in her product line and QVC makes them affordable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Skillet!! I ordered the skillet in red and the color and quality of the pan is immediately evident when you pull it from the box. I've browned chicken in it (on my glass top stove) with some EVOO--it browns beautifully--then removed the chicken, sautéed veggies in wine to deglaze the pan, returned the chickened and then covered it with foil and transferred it to the oven and roasted it. A delicious dinner! Also used it to cook pancakes and they were wonderful. In the video Rachael states not to use dish soap to clean it and only use kosher salt; however the instructions that came with the pan state to use warm water and a little mild soap. I decided to do a little of both methods--I put warm water in the pan and used kosher salt to whisk off any crunchies which easily wiped off clean, then added a dab of mild dish soap and washed it. The pan washes beautifully. And based on Rachael's tip, after cleaning the pan I rub a little clear oil over the interior (I melted coconut oil on my fingers and rubbed all over) then wiped it with a paper towel. I also store it with a paper towel on it as she suggests. This pan is ideal for many cooking needs and the quality and appearance is very up-scale. Like any cast iron skillet, this is a heavy pan, but the two handles make it easy to maneuver. This is the only cast iron skillet I own and obviously I love the pan! Don't hesitate to buy it--you'll enjoy many yummy meals and will have fun using it!! Bon appetite!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Misleading presentation I just received this pan and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I ordered 2 of them thinking they were seasoned cast iron, not coated enamel. I may give one to my daughter and send the other one back. I love cast iron and love taking care of it, but this is not bare cast iron on the inside. Depending on what you want it may be okay, but at least know what you are getting. The insert that comes with it even states "wash with soap and water and no need to season as the interior is enamel coated". I wonder if Rachael knows her own products before they hit the sales floor?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rachael Ray 12” Porcelain Enameled Cast Iron Skill Rachael I love your cast iron that I purchased from QVC!!! And it does not scratch my glass top stove!!! Like my old cast iron skillet would have!!! But can you have a lid made to fit the cast iron skillet!!! So that there will be no grease spatterings and spill overs!!! While simmering the food!!! Thank you!!!
