Tips From Robert

Keep your RLM Studio jewelry looking good as new with expert tips from designer Robert Lee Morris.

Sterling Silver
"All sterling silver tarnishes as it oxidizes from oxygen and moisture in the air, which turns the silver various shades of gray, brown, and even black. This is just a light surface coating of oxidation that can be removed by rubbing with a polishing cloth (a jeweler's rouge cloth works best). Keep sterling wrapped in scratch-free preventing cloth or tissue. Jewelry boxes with anti-tarnish felt are good, but you can also store sterling in the original box if your jewelry box is too full. Just make sure to mark what's inside the box to make it easy to find." - Robert Lee Morris

Tri-tone Jewelry
"Now that I've introduced tri-tone jewelry (copper, brass, and silver), you'll need an easy way to bring all three metal colors back to their original finish. Dip them into instant tarnish-remover liquid, available in many forms and names. It removes all tarnish immediately, but you must wash the jewelry in soap and water and dry thoroughly. The remover liquid is a harsh chemical, so please be careful and keep it tightly capped. Rubbing tri-color jewelry with a polishing cloth also works well." - Robert Lee Morris

Perfect match I happened upon this bracelet on clearance and it is the perfect match to the necklace that I previously purchased. I have a small wrist and hand and the average size was too large for me as it would slip right off my hand, so I had a jeweler remove one of the silver beads from the bracelet and add it to my necklace. Love the chunky style and very happy with purchase. 10-06-12
Lovely Price point, great. Glad I waited to buy it. I have a small wrist and was not sure if it would be to large, but because of the size of the hematite stones it is perfect. I bought RLM's hematite necklace years ago that matches this bracelet. You just never know when the next piece will appear that goes with a prior piece by the designer of choice. If you like a bracelet that has weight than you will love this one. I always like to feel the weight unless it is an earring. Thank you. 09-28-12
Fabulous!!! I bought the matching necklace some time ago and have been contemplating this bracelet since that time. I finally took the plunge and am so glad I did! It's bold and chunky--makes a strong statement. The organic look and feel of the silver beads and free-form hematite stones set this bracelet apart from all of my other bracelets. I wasn't sure if the average would be too large for my wrist...but because of the chunkiness, it fit fine. The sale price made this purchase extra sweet! 09-16-12
interesting and substantial I love the hematite, the silver seems substantial (which I expect at this price), and the bracelet was appropriately sized for the bead size (large fit my 8" wrist. correctly/comfortably) But I'm unsure whether I'll keep it - the proportions are just a bit Flintstone-ish for me. Scaled down a little and there would be no question that I'd keep it, but this scale is just not within my comfort zone. So I'll wear it a bit and see if I get used to it and decide. But I wouldn't be surprised if others who are more used to this scale will like it - it's definitely a good looking bracelet. 03-18-12
