V28961 - Quik Cart Xtra Heavy Duty Rolling Cart w/ Side Pockets
GOOD TO HAVE IT BACK!
I HAVE ONE OF THE FIRST CARTS ( ABOUT 10 YRS OLD...BETTER PLASTIC) THAT HAS BEEN THROUGH THE TRENCHES (HELD TOGETHER WITH DUCT TAPE THEN "UPHOLSTERED" WITH CONTACT PAPER) AND LOVED ALMOST TO DEATH!!!!
THIS NEW MODEL HAS BETTER WHEELS BUT, FEELS A BIT MORE FLIMSY, HENCE A 4-STAR RATING FOR THE $40 +S&H. THE LID IS GREAT FOR HAULING MY SCHOOL SUPPLIES IN THE RAIN AND FORTHCOMING SNOW SHOWERS. WITH ALL RESPECT TO THE DESIGNER, I PRINTED A NEW LABEL WITH MY CLIPART PERSONA AND MY STUDENT'S GUARD MY TROLLEY WITH CARE! PLEASE, MAKE A MODEL WITH STRONGER MATERIALS.
great idea poor construction
bought two of these: first one last two years and fell apart thought that reasonable for what i put it through (laundry - groceries - streets of nyc up and down brownstone stairs). second one lasted 3 months. went on line to see if it were there again and it was not. found one at one of the container office supply stories for 25 and no s$h does not have a lid but seems of the same construction. wish they would make this out of aluminium like the folding shopping carts in the interim, will continue to get this
So Glad to See This Back!
I bought this product many years ago from QVC and could not find it again. I still have mine and have been using it now for almost 10 yrs. It originally had extra collapsable cartons that could be purchased with it and I still have them. I am back to purchase two more. I use my current one for mail, swim accessories and groceries and have never had a problem. I now intend to keep the new ones in my car for groceries when warehouse shopping and transporting gym equipment.
I would recommend these without hesitation as they are very convenient and fold down to briefcase size after you're through with them. Please bring back the additional cartons too. Thanks for making this product, it has paid for itself over and over again!
This cart does come in handy....
I use my cart all of the time....it is very convenient. I just keep it in the back of my vehicle. I mainly use it for bringing groceries inside the house. I even use it at work when I have numerous items I need to bring to one part of the building to another part...instead of making numerous trips and straining my back. I do agree that the cart is a little over priced for the quality of the product. I would say a fair price would be in the $20 dollar range. A couple small pieces of the cart did break off, but they must not have been too important because the cart still functions the same. I do like this cart though...very handy to have around.
Handle broke with first use
Do not waste your money on this one. The first time I used it, it fell apart. Unfortunately, because I didn't think I would be returning it, I threw all the packaging away so I could not send it back. My wonderful dad repaired it for me so that I didn't lose out entirely.
Don't waste you money
The very first time I used this cart, the wheel came off. Pleast don't waste your money on this item.
I had one like this before but the wheels on this one are better. It is perfect for folding up compactly and fitting in the garage or trunk of the car to haul in groceries, plants, etc. I also go to many events where I need to haul in books, etc., so it is perfect for that. This one is constructed far better than the one I had several years ago.
Not worth the money
I purchased this cart for my business. It's much flimsier than I expected so it's definitely not worth the $50 it wound up costing after shipping and taxes. But I kept it because everything fit in the way I needed it to.
