I didn't receive the 4 electrode attachments. I received 2. I didn't receive the second leg holder. I received the blue one and not the green.

A QUICK START guide is simply not enough. To print out a set will take about fifty pieces of paper (one side only). And you will need them. For a tiny bit more, couldn't a full set of directions be included as a pamphlet? I sure needed them within minutes of starting the Quell up using only the Quick Start guide!
If you use with your phone, be prepared for a lot more printing out of directions!
I would suggest you read reviews from QVC and other places. QVC has the best deal by far with the return policy and extra pieces included. But one should probably learn a lot before even making the decision to buy this unit. I think maybe a lot of people tend to write reviews before they have actually had QUELL for very long. With me, I simply grew tired of the constant shocking below my knee and all the way around the leg!
More minor than that, but still noteworthy is that the "punch through area" is not very exactly positioned over the adjustments one needs to make while this is wrapped around one's leg.
Some people have had skin issues with this, so one might want to read about that.
Remember that if this is the way you plan on getting pain relief that one must purchase two electrode strips minimum per month. And some have mentioned that the Velcro bands do not hold up well over the distance. Recalibrating mine (no directions in Quick Start) caused quite the shocks and I never did get it to work exactly right without a painful two minutes when first turned on no matter what I did!
I think the company needs some studies done from outside of their own company, an independent lab. Pain is very subjective; different amounts mean different things to different people; and then there is almost always a placebo effect to consider.
Interpreting the company's own study results left me wanting. They just didn't list the procedures or much of anything else except a very vague percentage of people said to have been helped and by when. What people? What exactly was their source of pain?
And I grew very tired at the end of seven days with the shocking under my knee area for an hour on and an hour off for six to eight hours a day. And to know if it will work, one is supposed to wait up to seven weeks!
I just wish I had done more research before buying and I wish there were some true scientific studies published and available to us.

I must have received a bad item because I went right by the directions and never even felt a tingle .. I did all the right things but nothing happened, so it is going back. I had bought a cheaper product for my low back and it works great, but thought this one would do a better job.

I really tried to be open minded on this, after years of chronic pain I was willing to try anything and this may very well work great for someone other than me. I think perhaps my pain is just far too much for what this devise is developed for. I read all about it and the idea seems solid, I am sure there are tons of people that will find a great deal of relief from it, I just didn't seem to be one of them.

I have 4 bulging discs and a compression fracture, so when I say that getting up in the morning is a chore and getting through the day is an accomplishment, I'm not just talking for my health. However, since I purchased this, I have had nothing but relief. I put it on first thing in the morning, and have absolutely no pain for the entire day, as long as I am wearing it for therapy. this is absolutely worth it's weight in gold! One of the best decisions I have ever made!

I am a retired RN. I am aware of the benefits of "TENS" transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, and I have received the benefits of it numerous times in physical therapy sessions. You see I am also a chronic pain sufferer, having had numerous spinal surgeries.
I recently re-injured my low back, and was in severe pain. My wife, also a RN, ordered a Quell for me to try. Oh what relief I had, from the start. The electrical jolts I was getting were stopped, almost completely. My pain level decreased some, the first day, and has been declining a bit more, the longer I wear it.
This is not a miracle device, and may not work for everyone. But the science behind it is sound, the company appears solid, and thus if you are suffering from chronic pain, you owe it to yourself to at least give this device a try, QVC has a wonderful return policy, if it doesn't work for you, return it, you have lost nothing, But be prepared to finally get the relief you have been looking for! Give it a few days, a real honest evaluation, the unit doesn't care what type of pain, or where it comes from. The signals will help block the pain receptors in your brain, your brain just won't recognize that you still have that recurring pain. Simple and very effective.
I love mine, I hope and am pretty sure that you will love yours.

I had a tens unit, but had pain in multiple places. I decided to give Quell a try even though I was initially concerned about the price. I am so glad I bought this unit!!!
My pain has been vastly reduced, and I can go anywhere I like with it on. I am sold for life. Thank you to Quell and to you QVC for offering this product at a price that was right for me. This disabled senior citizen is back in the game!

It took a little getting used to and adjusting. But the pain relief with this device is working. I no longer have to wear a knee support because of arthritis and am taking less medication for pain. And am now wearing it to work ( I am a nurse's aide in a long term health facility.).
