Quacker Factory "DreamJeannes" Regular 5Pocket Knit Denim Boot Cut Pants
Decent pants, but can't pass for jeans.
I ordered these dream jeannes in dark indigo because I figured they would be a more comfortable alternative to traditional denim jeans. Based on the description and on air presentations, I was expecting them to look like regular jeans. When they arrived I was a bit disappointed because while they will pass for real denim from across the room, once you get up close they are clearly not. They have a lined look to the fabric, almost like the look of corduroy, but without the texture. In the fall and winter months this corduroy look isn't so bad, but come spring and summer, these pants are just going to look strange. I also found the rise to be too high for my taste, I was able to pull them up almost to my bra line! If you are more concerned with comfort than the look of an actual jean, you may love these pants. If you are buying them in any of the colors that are not trying to mimic denim, you may love them. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with the dream jeannes, they just were not what I was expecting, and are not the pants for me, I will be returning them.
I love the fit but the first time I wore this pair of jeans the zipper broke. Had to return them.
omg, these pants are super, love the fit, the color & the feel of them on, so comfy. I recommend! I'm 5'4 1/2" and I ordered the short and they fit me perfect, are plenty long but not too long.
Material is Comfortable-But They are Too Long
I was hesitating to try these with the mixed reviews. The material is very comfortable and they feel great around the waist. First time that has happened with a pair of jeans! BUT the inseam is 32 1/2" not 31 1/2" AND they aren't boot cut they are definitely bell bottoms. Quacker Factory definitely needs to improve their quality control. 8-(
I'm in my early 60s, and I thought I would never wear jeans again. Thanks to you, I can! They're so comfortable. I did have to order short even though I am considered medium height. Otherwise, fits true to size. I don't wear high heels, so these go great with my flats. L-O-V-E it!
I have lymphademia and these pants are the best fit ever! However I have continuous problems with the length being inconsistent and zippers breaking. I have had to have the zipper replaced many times.
I am returning this item. After the first wash, half the rhinestones fell off. The indigo color also faded after one wash on gentle cycle with woolite. The pants were comfortable but began to sag at the waist. Poor quality product.
These jeans are so comfortable and move with you, I have several pairs
Just received the size 2 jeans I ordered. They are equivalent to a normal size 12 in stores. I could not believe how massive these are. Just wasted money on shipping to and from. No amount of alterations could make these fit. Don't waste your money like I did. Back they go.
Nice and comfortable but way too long for me and normally I can use a regular. Only put them on for an hour or so and they got bigger by the minute. I will keep and see how they do when I wash them, I like Quacker Factory but these are not my favorite by a long shot.
My favorite pants
I ordered these for the first time over a year ago in a couple of colors. Found that I would always want to wear my Quaker pants as they are so comfortable. I like a snugger fit so purchased one size down and they fit perfectly except I do have to hem. I'm 5'5" and they are too long as I don't wear heals anymore. I ordered more colors in Dec and so glad I did. I wear these year round. Have a nice stretch so they don't hurt around waist. A few of the rhinestones on the small rhinestone heart on front pocket have come off in the wash on a couple of pairs but I don't tuck in shirts so only I know they are missing. If you are looking for comfort, you will love.
I love these jeans so, so much. For me, they fit true to size, look very nice, and are oh, so comfortable. I got the dark indigo, but look forward to getting the black and charcoal grey, and perhaps the antique rose for spring. I hope Jean knew how wonderful her products are!! I sure have enjoyed them over the years.
