Quacker Factory "DreamJeannes" Regular 5Pocket Knit Denim Boot Cut Pants
Winter white fabric
I have many pair of these pants including almost 3 year old white that have been washed, dried & worn a million times without problems. I needed a refreshed lighter color for upcoming travel so ordered the winter white in smaller size 12 since the 14 grow after a few hours of wear. Was I dissapointed! The fabric is thinner & you can see my fair skin color thru fabric especially in place where pant is a bit tighter, it is also softer & "floppier" than my other pants. Fabric is definitely different & I don't care for it. Also the 12 fit just like my 14 & even bigger in waist??? I'm hesitant to order another white if fabric has been changed on it also Another return cost that is vendors/Q's issue but I have to pay!
Length not consistent
I bought two pair size10,my normal size. They do stretch a little, So, I bought the straight leg pull on one size smaller, size 8. Perfect in length which says they are 31". Yet I just ordered the white in the boot cut size 8 . Says they are 31 1/2", but are at least an inch shorter. Wish the white would come in the straight leg pull on. I have long legs and 32 would be perfect but hard to find. I now have four pair. The dark indigo, do look like cords and not denim, but I kept them due to it was cold weather when I received. Need to get more colors in straight legs. It's easier to hem straight than wider cut legs,
Waiting to get them hemmed
I bought 2 pairs of these pants in short and size 18, I wanted 1x but they were all sold out. They were still long and the width of the legs are large and I am not a little thing!
Hopefully once I get them shortened I will like them.
I have not actually worn these yet but tried them on and washed them - brought them to be hemmed. They were super comfortable and you could not see through the white as noted on air. I am excited to see if these wear as nice as they feel and don't stretch out two sizes by noon. I did order down a size as noted by other reviews and they seem perfect so far.
Was very excited to get these jeans. In the beginning loved wearing them. Very comfortable and they fit well. Washed them on gentle cycle and always hung them to dry. After a couple of months, however, the jeans started to show signs of wear. Fabric around some of the seams appeared to be developing thin spots. Actually developed a hole by on of the belt loops. I have attempted to repair damaged areas with iron on patch. I have had these jeans too short of a time to be experiencing these problems. Will never buy another pair.
Quacker Factory never fails
I cant say enough about these pants, I have lost over 50 pounds in the last 5 months and went down 3 pants sizes, so I have to keep purchasing Dream Jeans, This is my 6th pair, they wash and dry great, they do not fade or shrink, the size is right on, If I had anything neg. to say is, the material could be a little better quality for the price, you can tell the material is cheap, none the less they wash great and look great.
I can wear jeans again!
I love love love DreamJeannes. In fact, I don't wear any other kind of jeans. Just these! I need to get some more colors though!! Also, just wondering if there is a possibility that you could make jean skirts out of the dreamjeanne fabric? And include soft shorts on the inside of the skirts? Would be fun for Spring and Summer weather!!
Decent pants, but can't pass for jeans.
I ordered these dream jeannes in dark indigo because I figured they would be a more comfortable alternative to traditional denim jeans. Based on the description and on air presentations, I was expecting them to look like regular jeans. When they arrived I was a bit disappointed because while they will pass for real denim from across the room, once you get up close they are clearly not. They have a lined look to the fabric, almost like the look of corduroy, but without the texture. In the fall and winter months this corduroy look isn't so bad, but come spring and summer, these pants are just going to look strange. I also found the rise to be too high for my taste, I was able to pull them up almost to my bra line! If you are more concerned with comfort than the look of an actual jean, you may love these pants. If you are buying them in any of the colors that are not trying to mimic denim, you may love them. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with the dream jeannes, they just were not what I was expecting, and are not the pants for me, I will be returning them.
I love the fit but the first time I wore this pair of jeans the zipper broke. Had to return them.
omg, these pants are super, love the fit, the color & the feel of them on, so comfy. I recommend! I'm 5'4 1/2" and I ordered the short and they fit me perfect, are plenty long but not too long.
Material is Comfortable-But They are Too Long
I was hesitating to try these with the mixed reviews. The material is very comfortable and they feel great around the waist. First time that has happened with a pair of jeans! BUT the inseam is 32 1/2" not 31 1/2" AND they aren't boot cut they are definitely bell bottoms. Quacker Factory definitely needs to improve their quality control. 8-(
I'm in my early 60s, and I thought I would never wear jeans again. Thanks to you, I can! They're so comfortable. I did have to order short even though I am considered medium height. Otherwise, fits true to size. I don't wear high heels, so these go great with my flats. L-O-V-E it!
