screwdriver pic is misleading
Where do you find a screwdriver that small? I bought this for my grandsons and still have not been able to find a screwdriver small enough to fit so it's not been used. a BIG disappointment. The pic on the box makes it look like a regular screwdriver will do. NOT! Can anybody suggest where I can find a screwdriver to fit?
Bought this for my 7-year-old grandson for Christmas. It's all over Facebook-it's his favorite Christmas present! score one for Grandma and QVC!
waste of money -false advertising
Wish I would have read the reviews prior to buying - purchased for 3yr old grandson - iI put batteries in well before Christmas it was a nightmare - itsy bitsy screw in teeny tiny hole.
Worked great all Christmas day - thank goodness - next day replaced batteries and one vehicles wheels didn't work no matter how many batteries we tried.
Try explaining that to a3yr old
Very disappointing that there are no replacement cars to buy.
Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old grandson for Christmas and we had loads of fun, but as other reviewers stated, putting the batteries in is a nightmare. We had to use my sewing machine screwdriver to get it in to the battery cover opening. At his age, an adult needs to help set up the track to make sure the groves line up, but each time we took it down and then re-set it up, we had a different track.. We especially like playing with it in the evening, when the head and tail lights were more visible. All in all, it was fun for my grandson and me!
I agree with other reviewers that the manufacturer needs to include a small screwdriver or tool to get into the battery compartment.
Putting batteries in the cars was very difficult. Had to find a tool small enough to fix down in the hole and fix the screw. Fire truck lights quit working the second time my granddaughter used it. Very disappointed in the product. Trying to get the fire truck replaced if possible.
not worth the money
very disappointed idea was great but putting the batteries in was a nightmare and they don't stay charged long enough even new ones. My son loved it once it was up and working however you can not buy additional track pieces. Wish i never gave it to him wasn't worth the money.
I was so excited by the presentation way back in Aug... that I ordered two of these to give at Christmas .One for my grandson and one for my sister's grandson..
With the carrying bag, so easy to transport and I thought it would bring hours of fun to my 2 and a half yr old grandson when he came to my house every week.
The fun lasted 20 minutes because after I assembled the tracks so the cars didn't fly off and an adult really has to, a piece from the bottom of one of the cars sat there on the track.
This was without any "hard, careless" playing. We were playing with it together.
This bottom is what adheres the car to the track.. so now we have just one car.
There are no replacement cars available to buy.
So we are disappointed and I think this is poorly made.
My 2 year old got this as a Christmas present and he loves it! We are purchasing another one to make trak bigger! An eyeglass screw driver works best to change batteries on cars. Puzzle pieces are easy to put together for children!
I purchased this for my 4 year old for Christmas. He immediately began putting the puzzle pieces together. That part was easy and fun for him. Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out how in the heck to get the screws out in order to put the batteries in the cars. If a special tool is needed they should have included it. Now I either need to send it back or find a micro screwdriver so I can finally put the batteries in.
so much fun!
Our Christmas gathering is not until Dec 28, but I let the 2 grandsons open this gift early on Christmas Eve day; they played with it all afternoon, right up until time to go home that night! One is 5, the other 10, and they combined their sets and made a huge track, and figured out how to get all 4 vehicles running the track without running into each other. Great gift, especially since all they seem to want anymore is electronics! This gives them a chance to use their imaginations and PLAY!
