ProStrong ProEdge Set of Four Nail Files
Hurrah, QVC still has these!!!!
I have used these nail files for several years. They are great and last a long time!
Thank you QVC for still carrying this product.
These are positively, hands down, the best nail files. I have been using them, and giving as gifts, since the Q has carried them.
I, too, have purchased these files for years. My last shipment (2 sets) were just as the last reviewer said: the pink side was no longer very, very fine and smooth. This was key to the special nature of the product (and touted in presentations): the superfine side finished off the filing leaving no snags, etc. I don't know if the change was intentional (or a manufacturing defect), but I will not purchase again until I know the original quality is back.
They've changed for the worse!
I wrote a stellar review on these before I got my most recent shipment...big mistake! These USED to be the best files ever....Not any more. The pink "smooth" side is no longer smooth. It is very rough and no longer gentle enough for my delicate nails. I want to cry. Apparently Prostrong either got a better deal from another manufacturer or decided just to cheapen their files...either way bad idea. I won't continue to pay for these expensive files. Prostrong, if you ever read your product reviews I hope you read this and take heed. Please, PLEASE bring back the original files.
Best files ever
I've been using these for years and love them. These are the only files that I have ever used with any success. The smooth (pink) side is gentle enough to smooth my nail edges....most "smoothing" files are too harsh for my nails and will still leave a slight roughness that will eventually cause them to snag and tear. I love, love, love these!!!!!!!
These are the best files I've ever used. Leaves your nails smooth after filing. I hate when you file your nails and they leave rough edges. This files lightly and smoothly leaving your nails finished perfectly for a manicure.
I must be missing something ~~~?
I received a nice sized square cardboard box from QVC, I was excited to get it, I made the mistake of having my husband open it. He said " You had this SHIPPED here? You can buy these at the store!"
When I finally got the files opened & separated, I was embarrassed for him to see what I bought. I have my own natural nails, are these files for fake nails? I do not see where the file part is... both sides seem smooth to me. However, I got a pretty good sized pamphlet to read inside the box... so I will find time to read 'how to use a nail file'..... ( I am almost 70 years old )
Thank you Thank you
Am I glad you have these back in inventory, I just ordered 3 sets, and they are the best nail file I have ever used. I use to be sold on the hard diamond ones, but they just rip my soft nails apart. They may seem expensive folks, but have you ever added up all the others you have tried???? These are wonderful, best thing since swiss cheese................
best file ever!!!!
I have thin, splitting nails. Now they grow and have stopped splitting. I've been using this file for two years, even take it to the nail salon. The girls were doubtful at first but now they ask for it. Well worth the price.
They don't look like much, but don't be fooled. I bought these last year and they are still going strong, and my nails are prone to chipping. I accidentally used another file recently (drugstore type) and I could feel the difference and my nails snagged again easily. This file leaves your nails super smooth, and if the edge is smooth, you are less likely to get the nail snagged and broken.
These are the best out there. Supermarket boards are no comparison. I always have these on hand (no pun intended).
Does not work very well and wears out way too fast. I have to file for a long time just to get a chip or nick out of my nail.
