K34097 - Prepology Silicone Set of 3 Microwave Cooking Dishes
I use the middle and largest the most. These are great for the mic and will be used a lot. I like that they are very light weight, easy to clean and do the job, very happy with this purchase.
Does everything just the way advertized. great for steaming rolls and breads for burgers and dogs
Crazy-Fun way to cook!
I'm having a terrific time with this set of silicone cookers! . They are just great. I've already used them for cooking both fresh and frozen veggies, heating soup. Everything takes very little time and tastes fresher than cooked on the stove. Two eggs, scrambled with just a Tblsp of water (add cheese if you want) puff up and cook to tender perfection with the lid on in just about a minute and a half. Peek and stir once. Delicate and wonderful! The cookers swish clean with warm soapy water, no scrubbing needed. Oatmeal cooks to chewy but soft and delicious perfection in the largest dish using a ratio of one part oats to one part water ( 1 cup of each is right for two people). You'll want to experiment . We found two minutes to be the right time. No sticky cook pan to clean as with oats cooked on the stove. Love these!
These are great bowls that are light weight but stable. Easy to
store and wash up perfectly. Good sizes too.
The only thing I can say is LOVE LOVE LOVE my Silicone Set of 3 Microwave Cooking Dishes . Am planning to get some for christmas gifts. Try them...Your going to love how much better your microwave food taste.
Great gift for anyone who cooks
Best Silicone dishes!
I already have been using the "Orca" silicone boats & I like those too, but this set is even better. The lids are sturdy & SEAL TIGHT & nothing splashes out Yea!. They are sturdier and don't collapse over. Handles are firmer than on others. I like to use the small and medium bowls for portion control and daily I steam broccoli, summer squash & also cook frozen shimp or tillapia in them. Fresh Broccoli and frozen corn on cob are so good using these. TRICK TO SILICONE STEAM COOKING-- add VERY LITTLE liquid- & lots of seasonings- just experiment a little. Clean up is so easy, rinse & wipe right after & literally takes just seconds so u have no left over odors or dishes. I read other reviews first & saw that most loved these. I LOVE THESE TOO. I hope they make a few more medium size styles-- with same quality and function as this set. GREAT WORK!
Hold their shape. Rigid handles are so much better than other brands. Nothing sticks to the slick interior. They keep my microwave from food splaters. Also heat food evenly while keeping it moist. Would like to see more colors, as whole family is useing them.
THE BEST THE BEST
I can only say one thing... I really like these. I also have the ORKA and wish you could get the larger square shape. I cook with the microwave. This largest bowl makes enough potatoes to be mashed.
I use no water, just peel, cut small, cover, microwave, based on potato amounts. Then mash in another bowl. They wash like a dream.
GREAT PRODUCT. USE THEM EVERY DAY!
I have the smaller Orka and was looking for a larger one. These are better. They are not as flimsy. If you use your microwave a lot, you need these!
Definitely a "MUST HAVE" for the kitchen
This set of silicone dishes work really well and are so great for use in the microwave...anything else they are able to do is a bonus. I have gotten to the point that if I put something in the microwave...it goes in a silicone dish. I have both these and several from Orka...all different sizes and shapes. I wouldn't want to part with ANY of them! They really cook food evenly and the way the top holds in the steam and helps avoid boil-overs is wonderful. I think that if you try these out...you will be glad that you did. If you keep the lid closed after removing them from the oven they will keep the food really hot until you get everything on the table. The price is very reasonable and they are a good quality. Enjoy!
I use the little one almost every day. I steam chicken, veges, whatever in the microwave, everythibg is moist and delicious. I like the stability of each of the bowls. Just love this proiduct.......
Oatmeal in the Microwave!!!
I would recommend it highly just for this. Oatmeal always boiled over in the microwave. And on the stove, the pan was hard to clean. I use the medium size Prepology bowl, add 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup water. Cook on 3 POWER for 8 minutes with NO COVER. Perfectly cooked oatmeal with no stirring and the bowl VERY easy to clean. (My first review ever on QVC...)
