K30508 - Prepology Silicone Microwave Pasta Cooker
Perfect for 2 people & RV'ers
Sorry to see this is no longer available. I use this often. For two people it is terrific. Also a good item for RV'ers. I keep one in my Motorhome. To use it in the Microwave in stead of on stove using propane. So much more economical. Even at home. By the time I get water to boil it is almost done in Microwave. Comes out perfect. I have never heard the Hosts talk about use in an RV.
Please, Please, Please, PLEASE BRING THIS BACK!

THANKS FOR THIS GREAT PRODUCT!
I bought a red one to use for cooking pasta ..... after many trials I still love it. I just bought a blue one to use for cooking hot dogs, kielbasa, frozen vegetables, etc. At the clearance price this item is a gem.
I was skeptical about a microwave pasta cooker, but loved the idea. Since the reviews were very good, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. It's wonderful. Very easy to use & pasta comes out perfectly al dente. Just wish there were measurements & timing for other types of pasta besides spaghetti. I will have to experiment. Love, love, love this product!
Great for College Dorm!!
This is my 2nd Pasta Cooker purchase. I got this one for my son going away to school.
I will pack it in his trunk along with some boxed Mac & Cheese!!
ISSSSSSSSSS GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is just what I was looking for. I hate to stand watch over a stove watching water boil.
I could not find the instructions book but I remember reading it when I was got, and I believe it calls for 14 minutes cooking. Measured the water, added the pasta and came back when I heard the microwave call me. (hahaha)
Well pasta was done, some of the water boiled out, I'll add
less next time.
It was great!!!!!. No looking for strainer, no watching over boiling water.
Yeeeeeee, for me. This is not my first item from prepology and I love them all.
Thank you so much.
Needs better instructions
If it had better instructions I would have given it a ten. Having had another microwave pasta cooker I knew to leave the lid off when cooking so it wouldn't boil over. It also needs measurements for other types of pasta like macaroni, penne, etc. But I love the silicone so much better than the plastic. The starch from cooking the pasta doesn't stick making cleanup so much easier.
Who cares if you can't see through the container. It comes with a storage lid too! This is not flimsy, really nice. Like it better than my see through one. Great price too!
I thought I'd try this to see what it's all about. My kitchen will ALWAYS HAVE THIS PASTA COOKER! It does what they say: cooks spaghetti, tortellins, even shells in 15 minutes or less. And I'm going to try baking bread or cake in it next.
Terrific pasta cooker !
I have had this for several weeks and use it at least 3 to 4 times a week. It is great! Fast pasta, without having to wait for a huge pot of water to boil and then lifting and draining a heavy pot. I did not really expect it to work and purchased it based on the mostly good reviews. I am glad I did. In my microwave, it cooks regular spaghetti al dente, from start to finish, in 18 minutes and I cannot tell any real difference between the quality of this and when it is cooked on the stove top. One trick that helps me: I was always taught to put the pot down on a flat surface to get an accurate measure when filling with water. But the silicon sides are soft and bulge out, so when you use the measuring lines on the side, you are actually adding too much water and it boils over. Now I fill it by holding it under the faucette by the handlesand the sides stay vertical. If you put it down, the water level drops and it looks like more is needed but it is not and it does not boil over. Would I recommend this as a gift? Absolutely!
Great for small batches of pasta. I have also tried it with frozen pasta and box pasta meals.
Eric and Prepology have come up with a winner in this silicone microwave pasta cooker. Mrs Camo loves it for cooking all types of pasta, from spaghetti to rigatoni, faster and easier than the conventional method.
I love it for steaming mushrooms and other veggies. Just add a little shallot salt to steamed mushrooms and you have quite a treat. Or steam some baby leeks and add a mustard vinagrette.
Have you tried baking bread in it? Don't be afraid to try! I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could.
