THE SKINNER
Finally found the perfect shears for removing the raw skin and fat from my turkey and chicken. It's a process I perform. Skinning, separating the pieces, wash, dry, marinate, bake, cool down, debone, vacuum seal. Cuts with ease the end tip of the leg. Cuts thru bone easily. So pleased with this new found tool. Unique Style
I was attracted by the style & what the shears could do; so, I purchased. Must admit, I had trouble reclosing them; but did as the manual said & pushed down on one side until it turned. Used the knife 4 cutting sweet potatoes -- did not work! Not sharp enough! Used the scissors for cooked chix -- cut up 4 my dogs -- celery, garlic, veggies,etc. Excellent, quick, easy! No problem cutting raw chicken, either. I don't understand the lock, though! It really does not lock anything.

Broke imediately
I was excited to get these, but the first time I took them apart to clean them, I couldn't them back together. Once I thought I had them together, I squeezed the handle and the axel pin bent. Not bothering to send them back. Not worth the postage. I've gotten so many excellent items from QVC. I'm very disapointed.

Best Garden/Rose Shears EVER
Thats right, I use them outdoors. The cut delicate stems without crushing, crucial when working with roses. The santoku knife easily and quickly separates for straight up cutting/trimming jobs that I'm sure everyone has abused a kitchen knife for! Very important is the fact that they disassemble and are SO easy to disinfect. I already have cooking shears which I'm pleased with but if I didn't, I'd be buying a second pair for the kitchen. I hope that my 'odd' usage gives gardeners (especially rose folks) the confidence to buy these and use them outdoors as well. Lastly, they sharpen in a snap with the flip-up kuhn rikon knife sharpener. I give them a swipe after every use and I KNOW they are nearly razor sharp at all times. GREAT PRODUCT!

Terrible
Pinched my finger. Didn't cut well barely used them and husband picked them up s squeezed to cut and handle broke off. Sending back. My only disappointed purchase.

Perfect Utility Shears
Ok, first time I took them apart and put back together took a minute. Now 2 seconds once you know how. Blade is sharp. I use to cut up QVC boxes for trash. Work great. I find them very handy in and outdoors. Best of all easy to clean since they come apart.

Not sharp at all
I love the concept of this product, but it will not cut hot butter. I have used it on 3 different items and it did a bad job on each. Got a cheap pair from the dollar store and it did a better job. I really wanted this product to work because the handle is good for arthritic hands.

EFFECTIVE & SHARP!!!!
I have used this awhile before writing a review. I find it to be just as advertised. I really like to use it for opening QVC packages!! Also for just general use in the kitchen. ..cutting bones on chicken, etc,. I think it is simple to take apart and put back together. I dont understand the complaints in this regard...Like any of these kitchen gadgets you just have to fiddle with it at first and get used to it.....Then it's a breeze. I do wonder about how it will hold up over time though..

difficult
Easy to take apart, almost impossible to put back together, then stay together. Spent a lot of time, both myself and my husband trying to put it back together. Would not recommend. It was sent back.

Look awsome
These shears are a birthday gift which has not been given yet. I have examined and tried out and they seem to be an o.k. item. If the recipient of this gift likes them, I will probably order a pair for myself. Have been looking for a strong shear that will cut through a chicken and other difficult items. I will write another review when I know the outcome with the birthday boy.

Terrible
The title says it all. This is the first product I've ever purchased off of QVC which was a disappointment. I guess they're sharp, but they don't cut easily. And, while it is theoretically convenient to be able to take them apart - it really is not nice or convenient. Just a total waste.

WORKS GREAT
Easy to use. Takes apart and put back together in about 5 seconds. So easy to clean.
Very Sharp...
