I think this 18" emerald and sterling necklace is pretty and will hold up just fine. However, seeing that the emerald is more like chips than they are stones, I can't justify keeping it at $200. I was hoping it would round out my emerald jewelry collection, but I don't see the value in this piece. If money was no object, I might consider keeping it.

Just returned the 18" emerald necklace. I found the stones looked washed out. I had a hard time determining what the stone was as I looked at it around my neck. I have several emerald pieces where the stones look alive and brighter than what I got in this piece. The silver chain was substantial which should hold up for those who might keep this.

Green being my favorite color, and gemstone station necklaces my favorite style, ordering the emerald option of this necklace was a done deal from first sight. I got very lucky and got a majority of bright green stones of decent clarity. I like the silver chain link of the necklace as well, and the bezel settings of the stones are bright, and nicely protective as well, another plus to the design. I hope to be able to order the ruby and sapphire versions as well, over time.

Purchased all three of these in 18". Love this style necklace! The silver is just beautiful. Not flimsy but a strong chain that looks good with a nice size lobster claw clasp. Bezel settings are also a favorite of mine and I like the oval not round cut stones for this style.
On the down side, there are 18 stations so the stones are small, about .18 or .20 each. With the bezel settings the small stones are almost overwhelmed by the silver. You can see the colors of the stones but the necklace went from excellent to good based on that. The colors of the stones are good though small. You can see the colors but subtle. This necklace looks better on and in the light. The Emerald stones were not as good as the other two; a few were pale green. These necklaces are hard to come by so I'm planning on keeping them and recommend them as well!
