I purchased this thinking that you fill it before baking, but that is not the case. You bake the cupcakes, wait until they are cool and then fill them so you can't put another kind of cake mix or anything that needs to be cooked in the cavity. You can however, use pie filling, candies, etc. There is a learning curve to it. Don't make my mistake and overfill - just measure in the amount stated in the instructions and they will come out fine. It really made a mess, but end-product turned out fine. If you like unique cupcakes, you should try this at the clearance price - it really works!

Made the Boston Creme Cupcakes....came out great. I love how the tops of the cupcake are domed. They never come out that way in a plain cupcake. I came back to buy a second pan and it was on late nite special so no shipping (thanks QVC).
I do a lot of bake sales and these are going to be a hit. Oh and a box cake easily does 12 cupcakes if you measure it out like in the directions.

we bake completely grain free- have made both savory and sweet (we use stevia, honey or maple syrup and either almond or coconut flour) everything came out great- our favorite are grain free strawberry cupcakes- with a large fresh strawberry inside- also made cute mini grain free potpies so good.

Made these today and they came out great, I would recommend more than one cake mix tho or a homemade cake recipe, It was a tight fit to get 12 out of it with out scrimping on some...

Last rainy afternoon my teenage son baked these using peanut butter & nutella, banana pudding and leftover boxed chocolates from the holidays. First time using the pan and they all turned out great. ( and he is not an especially patient person) I used corn muffin batter and filled it with vegetables. btw, we use all whole grains and natural ingredients, the cakes rise as well and come out of the pan just as easily.
