Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and excellent workmanship I have traveled the world and purchased ceramic everywhere. Some are nott fired enough and don't last. This is a quality plate and the lemons match many lemon items I have. The Petra line is good stuff!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice plates I purchased the plates when they were on sale as a TSV for $24 each and I bought 12 of them in the Cicily design . I decided to go ahead and purchase the Tuscany design as well. The artwork on the plates are very nice and I'm going to enjoy using them on special occasions as well as every day ! Since Qvc has presented this product I have been slowly collecting each plate and everything associated with them . I would agree that they are a bit expensive but well worth it ! Every time they have an easy pay offer I take advantage of it, it's the only way I'm able to afford them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LUV THESE PLATES!!!!!!! Bought 8 of these on clearance, they are pricey, but worth every penny!! They are large and handmade and beautiful! And made in Italy which I like. I got the Sicily pattern with lemons. I just wish I would've gotten the garlic pot when it was available!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Dinnerware Just received my two dinner plates in the Sicily design and could not be more pleased. They are large and bright and just beautifully painted. I wondered after ordering them if I would mind if they were not too perfect even knowing that they are handmade but no problem. They just have that little bit of a rustic quality that adds charm and authenticity. Just ordered two more plates. Please, please, please bring back the bowls and garlic pot in the Sicily design. Although, all of the designs are very pretty in their own right.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful...but... We ordered this plate in the Venice pattern the week Doris presented her lovely line on QVC sometime ago now. It is absolutely gorgeous. I decided to go on waitlist for another and finally received it this spring when they came back in stock. I figured it was worth the wait, only to be disappointed. I realize these are handmade and therefore will have those interesting irregularites. We own many, many handmade pieces. I not only accept they aren't uniform, I welcome it. The second plate, however, was so 'out of round', it looked poorly made. When held up facing me, it was as if the 'shoulders' of the plate were almost straight down. I planned on putting this in a plate holder on the wall but was afraid it wouldn't hold because of the awkward shape, never mind it would have only emphasized the flaw. I would still highly recommend them, but my second plate went back. I have other pieces in this line and they are gorgeous. Maybe I'll try this item again, but I'm hesitant. Returns get too expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is Like Artwork These plates are fine works of art. I bought the Tuscany last year, then decided to get the Sicily and Venice a week ago because they came back in stock and I loved the Tuscany so much and used it a lot. Lovely painting on all of them it is hard to pick a favorite, but the Sicily is my current favorite. You can really see the hand craftedness of them, plates are not perfectly round around the edges which shows the manual touches of spinning the clay, but mostly round don't get me wrong it is very subtle. I would recommend these pieces made in Italy to EVERYONE....I am so hoping Doris Roberts line continues to expand...it has been a year of nothing new so........ I also got the bowls in all three "flavors" now!
