Philips Wake Up Light w/ 20 Brightness Settings & FM Radio is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THIS!! So far, it's been the best alarm clock ever!! I am hard to wake up and routinely set 2 alarms...My phone and an alarm clock. This one is so different. It slowly arouses me and I wake up much better. I love that you can adjust the brightness of the light. Love the choice of ever birds, nature sounds or the radio to wake me up. I personally wake up to the birds chirping and even that sound volume can be adjusted. The buttons are sensitive to touch, but that was easy to get use to. Great product so far. I will never go back to the radio waking me up again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle light helps get me wake up! I've owned this wake up light/clock radio for 5 years now and it has been a tremendous help to me. I'm super grumpy in the morning and hate waking up when it's still dark outside. I LOVE that you can have the gentle light come on and increase in brightness up to 1/2 hour before your alarm goes off. That light is just enough to slowly rouse me and it's not a total shock to my system to hear an alarm going off-- which I would usually turn off, roll back over & fall asleep again. This clock/light is touch sensitive and it does take some getting used to-- touching the light for snooze, to turn alarm off etc. The buttons to set the alarm/time are slightly over sensitive and if your hand gets too close to those buttons it thinks you want to reset it, but if you don't do anything and let it be, the sensor turns itself off and everything stays as it was. I don't find the orange clock to be overly bright or shine up on the ceiling as the other reviewer stated. As I said before, it does take some getting used to because it is not designed like your average alarm clock that has knobs, buttons or switches to set the time and adjust the radio station. But if you are a bear in the morning like me, and need a gentle stir to get you up, I would give this a try.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 foot orange clock shines on the ceiling at night We got this and find that programming it a pain. It wants to be a sleep/wake up light, alarm and radio all in one. But the orange time displays on the ceiling when the lights are off and the numbers so big you don't need glasses to see them. The menu is so touch sensitive that putting something over the orange changes the settings. Also we found that when we turned the light off manually it didn't come on again according to the programming. If you need to sleep in a really dark room this is not the one for you.
