Philips 43" Class 4000 Series 1080p LED LCD Smart HDTV is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sound is terrible The sound on this TV is not good. You have to turn it way up to 32 or higher. Have had it for 5 months and it turns on by itself in the middle of the night - TV is in our bedroom, so now I have to unplug it by the wall every night. Updated software - will see what happens tonight. I won't recommend this TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good picture. Easy to set up for basic services. Have not had time to master the additional features. Had to make one call to tech support during setup, issue was satisfactorily resolved.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Volume is awful. Volume is awful, it changes from channel to channel, from media to media. We generally use vol setting 12, but vol will fall off so low we have to turn up to 85 or more. Them back it comes full blast. Its the worst when we go between your media portals Vudu etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Picture This TV in my opinion has a great picture and sound. I'm having some problems connecting with devices update feature, and there are several apps on the TV that do not work at all or they say feature is no longer available. Apps like VUDU, Netflix, and Youtube work great. The rest of the apps seem like bloatware to me. Hopefully an update will fix these issues. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT too Smart TV This is a good monitor and basic TV. Good Picture, fair sound. Sound volume is somewhat low when playing movies. TV would NOT connect to the server to upgrade over the network. Connecting to a network was easy. If using the USB to watch saved movies, videos, etc, the file structure SUCKS! It can not read a normal file structure. Bottom line is that if you want a basic TV, its not bad. If you want a smart TV, this is NOT the TV for you.
