Perfect Gourmet (45) Chicken, Pork or Vegetable Potstickers
I purchased the Pork and Vegetable combo several months ago and we finished them
off last night. We love them. I brown them in a skillet and then steam in the same
pan with a little water. Pour a little low sodium soy sauce on them and they are delicious. I will be ordering more because they are so easy to fix and so good.
Too much cabbage,not tasty
I purchased the chicken. I gave this item two stars because others may like the taste of cabbage. Personally the popsticker tasted too much like cabbage and I did not like the after taste. David B. should have explained the item had a strong cabbage taste and very little chicken or chicken flavoring.
Pretty tasty, but needs a sauce
These are great little appetizers and cook up in a jiffy. They're a little on the bland side if eaten by themselves, so plan to have a sauce for dipping. A teriyaki or sesame/ginger sauce works very well and gives just the right kick.
I was a bit hesitant at first but decided to try the vegetable potstickers. I am happy I decided to do so because I thought they were very tasty. I cooked them according the package directions then placed in a bowl and poured my chicken broth soup over them (I mixed chicken broth, a little fresh spinach, red onions, green onions, celery, herb seasoning, 1/2 tsp of kikkoman low sodium soy sauce, bay leaf, and a couple of chicken wings only to enhance the flavor). I have truly enjoyed the vegetable potstickers.
They are just ok...I ordered the 45 count one-time shipment of the Chicken flavor. They really didn't have much of a chicken taste...I used soy sauce to give them some flavor. After I finish them, I probably will not order again.
I'm lazy so I do the microwave method. Ready to eat in a few minutes. I use soy sauce for the dip. Saw other reviews with different sauces so will try them too. Quick meal any time.
THESE ARE ADDICTIVE...YUM...SO GOOD!
I can't understand all of the reviews about these being so difficult to prepare. There's really nothing to it. A tablespoon of oil in the pan, heat it, put the potstickers in, brown them a bit, add a little water, cover and let them steam. Remove the lid and let the rest of the water evaporate and then I usually brown them more because that's how I like them. The edges get just a little crispy.
I got the veggie ones and they are incredibly delicious. The wrap is PERFECT!, thin but doesn't fall apart and has the bite of an al dente cooked pasta. I originally ordered the 45 count on Auto Delivery. They were gone so quickly because I was eating them for lunch and dinner. I cancelled and reordered the 90 count on Auto Delivery.
I either eat them with no dipping sauce or use an Asian salad dressing that I have, Maple Farms Sesame Ginger (a little tart and a little sweet). Compliments the potstickers nicely.
I'm waiting for my order to be delivered any minute now. I have been going through withdrawals since I finished the last order. I can see why David always gives these his very special Happy Dance! I have recommended these to so many people.
I order food from qvc before . This product is nasty no flaver not what it says on air& just dough flavor. Will not ever order this product again . Sorry Very disappoint ed
This product is delicious! I ordered the pork and they arrived well frozen in a dry ice container. I'm not much of a cook, so I had some concerns about making them turn out well for out Christmas dinner. No fear! I did the pan sauté method and they came out perfectly - even better than some restaurant pot stickers I've had. They were golden brown, hot and wonderful. The dipping sauce came from an online recipe I found and it worked out to everyone's pleasure. We loved them. This product will become a staple in my freezer!
Pot Stickers Is an Understatement
I followed the first set of directions on the bag, and the potstickers seemed to become permanently bonded to the pan on contact with the oil. the final product was more of a soup than anything else. I'm stuck with quite a few of these so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Easy to prepare, yummy to eat. Disappointed I could not order the mushroom in a 45 count.
These are consistently good, I saute them in a non stick pan with a teaspoon of oil, then add a tablespoon of water and cover for a couple of minutes, tender, browned and just right.
I slice bok Choy or Napa cabbage and wilt it in the same pan, a swish of soy and fresh ginger and you have a satisfying meal, without the guilt!
Next time I hope I can buy the mushroom.....
