A little too shallow
The snowmen are very cute, but the snowman detail in the pans is so shallow it doesn't show up well on cookies or cakes. Even though it says it's preseasoned, I did it again and one more time after that, because things were sticking, badly. Finally, I resorted to using non stick cooking spray and that solved my problem. I'm keeping it, because it's cute, and hopefully will be able to find a recipe that works well in it. A little more planning by the developers of this pan could have made all the difference in a meh product and one that would have wowed us.

LOVE Cast Iron!
Would love to see more cast iron pans. I got this as a gift for my neighbor because she makes the absolutely best cornbread - the shapes give more room for crispy edges (my favorite part)!

Cute for Decor
I admit I haven't baked with this pan. I just used it as a trivet during the Christmas season and through January, and I've really enjoyed it. I plan to use it again for future holiday seasons.
This is a heavy item, and shipping was free, so for me it was a nice value.

I TOO WAS DISAPPOINTED!
During the presentation, Paula noted that the pans were already pre-seasoned. I was thrilled, because I don't have the time or know how for this process. So I purchased both pans to make fancy cornbread for Christmas. They did not come out of the pans. Not one. I took a spatula and was able to get the tops off. The pans are now in the garbage, and I am out almost $50.00.

LOVE THESE PANS!
My sister gave me this snowman pan and the gingerbread man pan for my birthday. Everything turns out great, but there is a trick to it. Before you bake with them you have to "cure it" (like you do with any good cast iron). I made sure they were clean turned the oven to 250 degrees, put cooking oil into the bake areas and put them in the oven for 2 hours and left them in the oven while it cooled down. I then wiped them out with a dry paper towel and allowed things to soak in. Used them the next day and wow - grandma was right -- cast iron was the original non-stick cookware! Also, you cannot immerse cast iron in water. You simply wipe it out and periodically oil it until it is well used. When I saw these on clearance today I had to order another pair for next Christmas!

Baker's Secret
I had a teflon bundt pan from 30+ years ago that did the same thing. When Baker's Secret or Joy came out I tried it and that worked. I suggest you guys try that the next time you try to use these pans.

sugar to help get them out
try using sugar after you spray the pans like you would with flour but coat them with sugar and this should help them come out allot better you may need a butter nife to go around the outsides

Truly Disappointed
I love QVC and Paula Deen. I bought one of the snowmen bakeware pans and one of the gingerbread men pans. I used the spray Pam to coat them really well and everything baked nice but you couldn't get them out of the pans! I was so disappointed and I got them right before Christmas to use to bake cute treats for my family and didn't even get them back out after cleaning them and putting them away. I waited too long to return them because of the holidays and things going on, maybe one day I will feel like messing with them again and try one more time, if they don't work out they will go in the trash!

I Was Dissapointed
I was dissapointed with this bakeware. I used this once greased it real well.
They stuck to the pan and was a mess. I sent this back.
