Love these sandals
This is my 4th pair in this particular style with the toe loop but the first I've gotten in the metallic. They are comfortable and cute! I ordered the pink color and wasn't sure how pink metallic would be, but they're not a screaming obnoxious bubblegum pink, they are a nice rose soft pink. They are leather, which I like and I don't find them to be rough. Papillio tend to be more stylish. Price is very much comparable to any other vendor that sell these. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered the silver. Fun and lots of bling in my favorite toe loop style! I get lots of compliments on these.

Beautiful but not comfortable.
I have many pairs of birkenstock sandals and their toe loop design is my ultimate favorite. I was looking for something a little dressier in a non print metallic. This is a beautiful pair of shoes and I loved them until I actually wore them. The underside of the leather straps is rough and is nowhere as near as comfortable as their typical "birkoflor" uppers. These shoes actually gave me a blister and I couldn't wait to get them off-which NEVER happens with any of my other birkis. I'm very disappointed with these shoes-especially considering the price.

Love this style
This is my very favorite style of Birkenstocks (Papillios, Birkis, etc.) and I have these in the graphite, gold, and the black for this style number. I also own them in just about every other style number ever sold on QVC... I do not like the knock offs where the longer cross strap is attached to the high arch strap... This style hides the fact that my large toe joint at the foot is swollen from arthritis which makes it impossible for me to wear other styles. Please, please, please, make these in emerald green, a variegated navy blue (no other colors mixed in), and a red that is in the blue-red color family...

Love this shoe!
Comfortable, no break-in. I love the Gold. I wore these when I went to Hawaii for a wedding. So comfortable. This was my first but won't be my last. I believe.

Not at all my favorite!
I ordered this shoe in silver because I thought they would be really cute and made of leather. I did not think the leather was of very good quality, at least not good enough to cost $105.00! They are cute but I'm sending mine back and ordering the less expensive toe loop sandals in navy.

PAGING PAPILLIO IN PERFECT PRETTY PINK…
…AND MIRTHFUL IN METALLIC… but it isn’t just the color; the Toe Loop Sandals are perfect for my feet, adding comfort and support including an adjustable strap promoting healthy feet. These are my second pair of Toe Loops --first came Birki's Patina Finish (A215639); and why the ‘toe loops’? Because I can’t wear the keen-looking sandals with the thongs, and when I saw the Birki Toe Loops months ago, I was smitten. With the Metallic finish, I can’t help looking at my feet in PINK! And it is the prettiest hue of pink I ever did see! It takes a little bit of practice with Birki/Papillio to adjust my walk and the fit to my feet; the results are soooooo worth waiting for. I now have my eye on a pair of Birki Antique Leather Clogs in Lavender! I know any Birki/Papillio is quality with padded insole, textured outsole, leather. P.S. I agree wholeheartedly with the reviewer who has commented: “They are comfortable and cute and I love them all. I have a closet full.” Hear! Hear!

the best pink I have ever seen
I have searched forever for just the right pink sandals. I don't like the brash fuschia pinks. These are elegant and the toe loops are comfortable, and they are LEATHER for us old fashioned people who like our feet to breath and the materials to form comfortably around the foot.

Love the Toe Loop
This style of Birkie is my all time favorite. It's the only thong I've ever been able to wear and I usually buy the new colors whenever I see them. They are comfortable and cute and I love them all. I have a closet full.

WRONG COLOR WAS SHIPPED... UGH
I ordered the anthracite color and was shipped the metallic pink. What the heck? My order slip says Anthracite, but the box says metallic pink. Really not happy as I wanted anthracite color. And now I'm not seeing it on the web site. Was planning to send these back, but the pink is kinda of funky. I'm your typical wear black all the time kind of woman...so this mishap has made my head hurt. :P These were going back as I didn't want pick... But now I think I'm going to keep them to sass up my summer. Still, I'm giving 3 stars for the mix up in shipping. I've ordered this design in other colors and love it... So for the product, I'd give it 5 stars.

The wrong color was in the box!!!
I ordered the anthracite color and was excited to get them. Imagine how surprised I was when I opened the box labeled with the color I wanted and found the bright pink! After reading some other reviews I realize this is happening to other customers too. They are going back. I am a big Birkenstock wearer and wear them almost exclusively in the summer. I have many pairs. But buyer beware if you order the anthracite color, you may get a box marked with the color you want but a different color inside.
